Taman Desa Medical Centre

Probably THE WORST SERVICE I've ever had in a hospital. I walked in to the ER with an open wound on April 1st and the doctor who came in to attend to me seemed like he was in a daze. (12AM)
He checked my wound and told me that they'll glue it up first and if it doesn't work then opt for stitches. While they were preparing for the session I asked the Doctor and the assistant if we should just stitch it up, he said this would suffice. Asked me to come back in 3 days for wound inspection and dressing charged me for a whopping RM320. And to add on, the 2 staffs at the Pharmacy took forever to get me my medication and discussing if they should give it to me, (I'm assuming it's a medication they had a hard time finding it on the system) this is based on what they were discussing while i was waiting in pain. I had no confidence to go back to them for a follow up. Hence I went to a clinic nearby only to find out that the glue didn't close up my wound and it cannot be stitched as the skin around my wound has hardened up. What kind of a bloody service is this? And how is my RM320 bill justified? Taman Desa Medical Centre should either start paying for good locums or shut down your dysfunctional hospital! Shame on you for having such a poor Emergency medical service and for robbing people's money just like that! The Dr who treated me was addressed as Dr Bharat

Today, my mum went to the Taman Desa Medical Centre for a check-up with Dr. Christopher Fatinathan, the resident physician. He is very professional and extremely attentive – thoroughly going through everything with my mum to try to get to the bottom of her issues. We want to thank Dr. Christopher and would highly recommend him to anyone.

My wife can to deliver our second baby here.
The nurses in the labor ward were nice and friendly.
Dr. Mak came to the hospital in 2am to conduct emergency delivery for my wife.
Dr. Lim was very thorough in his inpections and explaination on my baby.

Bad service. My bills total up at RM500+ when I check back the bill they OVERCHARGE me. My total bill was only at RM300+ can you imagine if I blindly pay? And then I ask the staff at cashier counter how many medicine was prescribe, he said 4. When i come collect at the pharmacy they gave only 3 item. Lucky I asked. Need to improve a lot. Staff at emergency very not proffesional. Too playful. MC was given last minute not immediately. Very bad la senang cerita. Not a good experience for me.

Service ok.tapi x mklumkan bahwa pmcare x cover. Mujur lps dpt gaji, ada duit klu TGH bulan meloponglah kita. Sebaiknya, check dulu. Ada cover ke tak, klu x bgtau. Xyah kita kluar duit. Minta staff yg uruskan tu, lebih perihatin. Sekian.

I went to visited Dr. Christopher, he is a very nice and patient person.good explanation.totally recommend

My mum recently had a major surgery in tdmc under d care of Dr Ramadass (o&g) and Dr Christopher (physician). Both of them are awesome and truly cares on their patients! They explained everyting in details patiently and gv us option to decide. Ward nurses are very attentive and responsible, they check my mum's condition frequently and well taking care my mum, especially post-surgery.

Thumb up and highly recommended medical center with professional services by doctors and nurses team with affordable price! My mum now was discharged well under their care! Thanks.

Dr Lim Menq Keong in here is the passionate & experienced Paediatrician we have seen so far. For those looking for good paediatrician I’m strongly recommend you to consult him. Best surrounding and best friendly nursing staffs in here. Affordable & Reasonable Fee.

Good community specialist hospital that offers multi-disciplinary care. Always helpful and friendly. Good job!

Taman Desa Medical Centre has been and is still very caring about my wife and son. The only negative point for me personally is one outside the control of the hospital, but this is that there is only a very limited amount of parking. But the security will assist if you temp need park close to entrance, this is great. We have been taken under the wings of Dr Ramadas and Dr Lim. My wife started labour at 7 February and 8 february our son was born. Public Holiday day, and still we received the best care. Thanks to the great medical team, this went very well, it wasnt an easy delivery and from normal we went to operate, my wife her wishes always have been met. My boy is very happy boy and I am very thank ful for the whole team also security who was very helpful and special for the great care of De Ramadas. I would recommend to Taman Desa Medical Centre if u planning to have a baby, as you will be in great hands. Also the medical team can always be approached with questions and they will be answering at their first oppertunity. Thank you Taman Desa Medical Centre.

The nurse on duty today at 5-6pm at the emergency area is acting very unfriendly and impolite.

I passed my appointment card to her and she show me her black face and told me that there is a lot of patients, no empty beds, etc.and questioned me why I come so late.should come in the morning! She told me I will have to wait for 2 hours only to my turn and if I can wait.

So I asked her then I come back later is it ok? With her black face she replied me cannot!

Is this how the patient should be treated?

Friends, better try to avoid this klinik. They charged RM 420 for general visit. Pls beware of this klinik.

I was admitted to TDMC on 26th Nov 2019 for a surgery on 27th Nov under Dr. Ramadas. I would like to give a thumb up to all nurses who were very helpful in assisting me during my stay. Dr. Ramadas is very knowledgeable, skillful and helpful in answering to all my question. I would recommend anyone whose looking for a good O& G doctor to look for Dr Ramadas.

Very clean, efficient and courteous service. Particular thanks to Dr Gauri Arumugam and also Dr Benedette and their team members for the amazing service quality provided to my daughter.

8.20PM press the bell but no one attend even after more than 5 minutes. Yesterday also the same. (No one in the counter too) If someone emergency, I think he might be dead.

*not just me. Other room also the same. I think you guys better pick up ur service level!

For me, I will definitely not going to let any of my relatives to stay here!

I was at TDMC end of Sept 2019 for a cholecystectomy - surgery to remove gallbladder and stone. The pre and post-surgery experience was commendable. The ward nurses who prepared and looked after me post surgery were professional and kind. The OT nurses' friendly manner also put me at ease before the procedure. Dr Vikneswaren demonstrated professionalism from the onset of diagnosis to after surgery. He answered all my questions patiently and even gave his personal phone number in case I had any after the final review. Thank you very much to Dr Viknes and the entire team!

Overall is good. Just that their Emergency have to wait. Due to shortage of manpower. This is something that I couldn't understand & forgive. As emergency ward is the only urgency place if the patient really got critical health problem. How can the patient wait, what they reply us is there are patients currently being diagnosed. In fact, there are few nurses & only 1 doctor! I was like huh?
However, the nurses are good in service, explain things in detail & doctor is helpful.

I brought my grandma to tdmc emergency to check on her knee and back pain. We were attended by Dr Gauri who was so friendly and explained very well and refered us for physiotherapy. I was pleasantly surprised today after receiving a call from the doctor asking about my grandma's pain. Thank you so much for your care and compasionate Dr Gauri:)

My auntie went to dr vicky for gallbladder stones removal. His service was very good and explained the whole procedure and was very assuring. He just joined as a general surgeon and highly motivated and i would definitely recommend to other people. Hospital nurses was also very friendly and heplful.
