Please be careful when admitting using insurance. They will ask u to do all sorts of tests and said its covered. But if your final diagnosis is not related to the test, they will ask you to pay instead. Good service but scam money.

I WAS ASKED TO DO ECG AND DR SAID SHE REMEMBERED CLEARLY ORDERING TESTS THAT WERE RELATED TO MY CONDITION. I even asked the DR if it would be covered on the day and they said YES. Are you seriously suggesting that I shld have decline treatment when im sick at that moment and mind you with given info that everything is covered? PLEASE do your research before you blatantly reply to this review. You have no idea what happened fully and I am truly, TRULY disappointed because overall experience here was okay but this credit issue is really out of words to describe.

The tests were done by doctor’s orders and i was CONVINCED it was covered. Almost after a month of the test suddenly u came back asking for payment stating it wasnt covered because its not related to final diagnosis? How is that not cheating? If I had known its uncovered I wouldnt have proceed!

You guys even asked me to go and find panel clinic to create a referral letter stating i need ECG test, and BACKDATE it to 3/8/2023. How unprofessional is that? Maybe to you rm120 is a small amount but you have no idea how hard it is to earn it. Easy for you to say to cover your image as a medical centre. I am done and disappointed.

Credit control said I can claim the amount with insurance. How is that possible when they mentioned that in order for the insurance to be covered I needed the Guarantee/Referral letter from panel clinic. Meaning if its a pay and claim basis I still need the Guarantee letter which is an impossible thing? Yet i STILL came in and paid to stop you guys from calling me every week asking for payment status. The damage is done. I hope I never visit here again.

If you are curious about the costing - my diagnose was ear infection on the left.
Cost me MYR474.10
Level of attention and way they speak to you differs on your financial background. I was tapping to co insurance tthen decided to head of elsewhere.

Probably THE WORST SERVICE I've ever had in a hospital. I walked in to the ER with an open wound on April 1st and the doctor who came in to attend to me seemed like he was in a daze. (12AM)
He checked my wound and told me that they'll glue it up first and if it doesn't work then opt for stitches. While they were preparing for the session I asked the Doctor and the assistant if we should just stitch it up, he said this would suffice. Asked me to come back in 3 days for wound inspection and dressing charged me for a whopping RM320. And to add on, the 2 staffs at the Pharmacy took forever to get me my medication and discussing if they should give it to me, (I'm assuming it's a medication they had a hard time finding it on the system) this is based on what they were discussing while i was waiting in pain. I had no confidence to go back to them for a follow up. Hence I went to a clinic nearby only to find out that the glue didn't close up my wound and it cannot be stitched as the skin around my wound has hardened up. What kind of a bloody service is this? And how is my RM320 bill justified? Taman Desa Medical Centre should either start paying for good locums or shut down your dysfunctional hospital! Shame on you for having such a poor Emergency medical service and for robbing people's money just like that! The Dr who treated me was addressed as Dr Bharat

The nurse on duty today at 5-6pm at the emergency area is acting very unfriendly and impolite.

I passed my appointment card to her and she show me her black face and told me that there is a lot of patients, no empty beds, etc.and questioned me why I come so late.should come in the morning! She told me I will have to wait for 2 hours only to my turn and if I can wait.

So I asked her then I come back later is it ok? With her black face she replied me cannot!

Is this how the patient should be treated?

8.20PM press the bell but no one attend even after more than 5 minutes. Yesterday also the same. (No one in the counter too) If someone emergency, I think he might be dead.

*not just me. Other room also the same. I think you guys better pick up ur service level!

For me, I will definitely not going to let any of my relatives to stay here!

Was entitled for a single bed room. After discovering there is actually 1 room available myself I had to demand to the extend of discharging only I get it else I only get a lazy fully occupied. Discharging took more than 5 hours to "undischarged" me. 1pm to 6pm. Can't accept the nonsense after sleeping and wake up for 2 times, I decided to check with the registration counter and my insurance agent to what is going on? Agent told me bill was only fax then at 6.55pm. So what happened after the doctor told me I can be discharged at 1pm? I paid rm300 as deposit to get out because I can't take it anymore of such nonsense at 6pm. Is anyone working? How many star do you all deserve?

Called to ask a question a minute ago, the reception did not understand English, spoke to her in Malay, was transferred to Jururawat who then asked where I'm from in a very rude manner, and hung up on me. Please consider hiring a better team for your hospital. This is unacceptable

Edit: noticed similar reviews about the customer service. Should consider changing the whole team. Pay more for a better quality service staff.

Poor waiting system! 1/100, yes! U got only one mark out of 100!
I made an appointment at 10am to collect medical report and do stress test. Reached at 9.30am. I only got to see the doctor at 10.30am. Then I was told to WAIT until the doctor sees all the patients at ground floor before proceeding to stress test at 2nd floor. Finally, the stress test was done at 1pm! 2 hours waiting for the 15 minutes stress test! The reason I received was he had to see all the patients at ground floor otherwise they will be waiting, WTFFFFF! I made an appointment at 10am! You should serve me first, otherwise dont use appointment system!
This medical center doesnt value the time of the patients! The doctor's name is Dr Raymond. If he is your doctor, Good Luck.
Btw, the nurse has good attitude and service.

I’ll give one star only because some poor basic but important services that I experienced 4 days that I never ever expected at all.
I won’t recommend this expensive hospital at all!

1. Most of nurses aren’t friendly and even some of them are rude.
2. Very slow response for some simple requests and even forget or don’t care to respond like bringing a bottle of water which is a very simple and important needs after 3 times asking!
3. The first night I slept overnight with my own cloths as I was in really pain and I didn’t ask for it however each time during checking by nurses they saw me sleeping with my own clothes but never even offer to bring the hospital clothes. Seems for something that you need must ask maybe few times, otherwise you wouldn’t have them, TV remote control, hospital cloths, soaps tissue, medicine.
4. Regular doctor visits also not on time and almost always dalay even if you’re not feeling well or you may need special medication, you still need to wait for doctor to come to visit you after 0.5-4 hours delay.
5. At least 4 times given wrong medicine and I informed them each time “it’s wrong and I have no this issue” but still during discharge given the same wrong medicine to me which is interesting!
6. Overal food quality also not really good, below average.
7. The room is clean some small issues flash tank not working properly, cracked basin
8. This is a common answer from nurses “please wait” but sometimes too long. I don’t think as a patient you are able to wait long for your simple needs.
9. Waiting so long to check in and discharge also

I twisted my ankle, it was swelling badly, couldn't even stand on my feet. Unfortunately i landed up in TMDC as it was nearest to me. I was made to wait for half an hour before i was sent to a "medical officer" even when i made it clear at the start that l want to see an orthopaedic doctor and it was an obvious case. It was now they told that the doctor is not available.
A hospital that claims to provide 24/7 emergency services had no orthopaedic doctor on duty. I was asked by the medical officer to get an X-ray done first. But then again i was asked to wait for one hour because X-ray service was not aavailable. I wasted about 30-45 minutes when i needed immidiate medical attention. I wonder what they will do to an accident case. Eventually i had to leave in search of a better option.

Check out takes more than 1 hour, bad staff service and gave me wrong receipt that belongs to other patients which caused me to unable claim my insurance as it needs the original receipt with same date I checked out. Would never come to this establishment ever again in future.

Called up, try to chec on the availability of the doctor i visited before at emergency because i wanted to visit her again today -> got transferred to dont know what specialist department and ask me to call again.

Called again to emergency -> dilly dally for few minutes w me and asked me to call back 2 hours later cause they are busy now. Too hard to find out one doctor's availability? Why bother picking up even or make it public contactable then?

Patients are kind of forced to go with the same doctor he / she went to see for the first time and had to waste so much effort to get to see another doctor whenever that particular doctor is not on duty. It seems like the focus is on doctor to patients preference rather than patients got the freedom to choose a doctor.

So expensive and too bad service. I went there to check my back pain. The doctor just listened to my explaination with out any further physical or movements checkups. He was fine by only pointing his finger to the pain spot that I showed him and then diagnose the pain. I PAID (148RM) only for consultations and (40RM) for pain relief. WHAT THE HELL!

Very rude staff. Was promised a call for my x-ray results and I waited an entire day for them to call me. When I finally called them at 4.30pm, and asked why wasn't I called as promised, the fella on the phone called me orang bodoh and was cursing me in BM and then refused to speak to me by putting me on hold. This was done repeatedly. This is very unprofessional and I am very disheartened that this is the kind of service we get from a Medical Centre that we pay money for.

Been to their centre few times because they open 24 hours and I can say the nurses do a good job. Can't say the same for their doctors who just ask one or two questions and march you out to pay for overpriced consultations and medications. I've also encountered the same doctor working night shift that's really unenthusiastic and couldn't be bothered to give a proper diagnosis. Turns out the medication given didn't help at all. Just terrible, that was the last straw which made me decide not to return again. If you're having a bad health issue I suggest you go somewhere else because this centre is not trustworthy.
