Visited the showroom November 2023 to view the Mazda3 looking to buy a car by December. Was served by an Alex Ng, one of the sales staff.

Asked if he could share me the details for the car and got a response that genuine stunned me as someone also from the sales industry “It’s a base model, would you like to do a booking? ”

We went to sit inside the test drive model and commented how cramp it felt inside and the sales agent just said “Yes it is. ” When asked what does the basic model differ from the higher spec model and his response was basically “the base model has no safety features. ” During the price explanation he told me most variants or colours aren’t available except the pricier one.

Can’t understand why Mazda sales staff are so bad at their jobs? They talk down about their own product and is the only car showroom I’ve been to that said “thank you” as to chase me away before I finish understanding what I was buying.

Either way, even though the Mazda3 was in my shortlist, the sales person really put me off from the product and I ended up getting a Honda Civic in December 2023.

Really hoping Mazda work on their sales team competency, highly unprofessional.

Worst experience ever, would never recommend to buy a mazda entirely.waste of time and never deal with bermaz or any other subsidiaries anymore. Never ever!

1-month ahead booking
Terpaksa pergi walaupun belum sampai mileage (masih ada 1,000km balance).

Great experience again. Must congratulate Shashi & his team for maintaining the high standard in customer service. Very polite and helpful Service Staff. Feed Back and communications need improvement, very helpful & knowledgeable service coordinators. Waiting Lounge is well appointed & comfortable with good selection of complimentary Food & Beverages available for customers. Extremely satisfied with the Service.
However, Telephone Operators need further training as they still put the customers on Hold for a very long period.

Hi, I'm writing this regarding the poor service provided by your Glenmarie Malaysia service centre. I went in for regular service in July 2023 FOR MY CAR VEB **77 and told the front desk please check my absorber and told them to check and change if needed. After that service they told us that weekend normally cannot check the absorber and will give appointment by call and need to change brake pads as well.
We here never receive any call till september and i had to call back on 18/09/2023 to check and was told to wait till October and I had to make noise and was given 21st /09/2023 8am.

Today when I went there and again was told absorber checking was not written and will try to check.report came out absorber all one and was told do alignment outside since their machine is malfunctioning.

To my surprise I went outside shop they showed me the absorbers are leaking and Mazda wrote on report all oke. I have attached all the pictures below and want action from Mazda now before I take legal action here. This is not professional and being a surgeon I cannot keep coming there for your mistake and negligence.

Hope to hear from Mazda soon.

Most impolite sales person I have talked with. Mazda HQ, please pay attention to the sales person who is in charge on your call. This identifies your quality of cars and how the after sales service would be. I am not buying a car in your branch.

Not even deserved a single star. Not professional. Only entertain good-looking people. I wasted my time visiting here, just go to other Showroom.
Major tip if you’re still want to come here: Dress well then the Sales Advisor will entertain you.

I have been to Proton, Perodua, Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, Toyota, Porches, BMW & Hyundai. But Mazda is by far the worst service center I ever been.

It was very hard to enter their service center as the guard asked so many thing and I was force to call the Mazda service center to let me in. Then the representative is very nice and explain in detail.

The technician in other worst are very rude and scold me when I ask about specific concern on behalf of my sister.they did not provide any food and good place for customer to relax like other car brands. The surau and toilet is terrible and disgusting like they never did any maintenance at all.do they even have a cleaner?

With that said, my view on Mazda drop to its disgusting and disappointment. I will never support nor bought any Mazda car as their after sales service is so terrible

An amazing callcentre, makes you wait, then suddenly line gets cutoff. Get’lah more headcount and training - haven’t you heard, other business are investing more on it.

I went to Mazda HQ to view and test the BT50 3.0. Only saw the 1.9 and was told no 3.0 for test drive is available. I even called up 8 different branches and none had a 3.0 for test drive. How can Mazda 'sell' a vehicle when a potential customer has no chance to test it? The competitors don't have this problem. I came to Mazda because I like the brand and if I buy a pickup was hoping it would be the BT50. It is unacceptable that all the branches in Malaysia doesn't have a test unit for a potential customer and I have to go to such length just to test a car that I like. Yes other car makers also have a tock issue but you still get a test unit to try and if we like we can book and wait. Mazda on the other hand just say the 3.0 is not available and stop me there. Then why do you advertise the 3.0 if you don't have it? Why do I have to do all the work to find 1 test unit when actually the car maker is the one who should convince me to part with my hard earned money?

Went twice with shorts and slippers, the worst sales rep I’ve ever meet, why go to HQ where u can get better service with other dealers.

1st visit, went there without appointment or reservation, not allowed to test drive, as test drive only for reservation customers.

2nd visit, test drive reservation made online and sales rep texted, mentioning can go anytime, no specific time/slot needed.

When reached, sales rep mentioned test drive car was out for test drive. When the test drive car is back, the sales rep was busy serving another customer who came much later than myself.

Approached him and he’s avoiding, not even asking other colleagues (which wasn’t serving any customer) help to arrange for test drive.

If u want to get better service here, better drive a S-class there and the sales rep will behave differently.

Although the waiting area is conducive with nice coffee machine and food but the service is below expectations. Sharing the same sentiment with other customers, the waiting is unusually long. Even the car is ready with status completed, no one will inform you and even after you approach them to ask, it will still take a while to get your keys. Parking is also narrower than normal creating extra risks of getting a dent mark from the car parked adjacent to yours. Both first two service visit, I ended up going home with a dent each time. Kudos to the service advisor which quickly check through CCTV and caught the culprit and make him pay. Recent experience is even worst. Came here to replace the rear brake disks and pad under warranty claim but they spent 4 hours doing disc skimming before realizing they did a mistake, the technician overlook the job sheet. No matter how good is the car (I love Mazda cars, driving CX-3 and now CX-30) but it is the after sales service that will drive me away from Mazda cars.

Went there for showroom. Once I step in, immediate someone approached, am i looking someone or need help.
Knowing I'm looking for test drive, arrange test drive in 5 mins. And go for test drive.
Good service, no pressure on the sales.

I brought my car for service sometime end of Feb 2022 and get them to check the sound when I turning the steering. I dropped by at 10: 46am and they only delivery my car at 5pm. I’m thinking it due to change of part so it took so long, but in the end they told me just did a normal service and diagnose the sound as need to replace the nut and protector for my steeeing, I asked them is the part need to order they said no, can easily get from the spare parts warehouse. I’m fine and come in next time. When I come today, I asked again how long is the estimated delivery time, the front line told me by 6pm which is before the service center close. I was so annoying as don’t you have a SOP and can’t you tell me estimated time? ! I realized that the service is really slow compare to few years back as I don’t expected long waiting time and front line can’t tell the estimated time even that you know the problem and what to do! I’m disappointed. I hope they can reduce the waiting time. Thanks

Dropped car off 7: 30 AM for regular service (2nd in line) Appointment 8 AM - Ring me if any problem - Got Grab back around 4: 45 PM - Car ready to take at 6PM - 10 hours for a straight forward service? !? ! Don't Understand - Third consecutive time - I consider it poor from such a big corporate company

Very polite staff. Great place with ample seats. Complimentary breakfast and lunch are provided. There's also ample place for you to do your work while waiting for your car to be serviced.

Went for 60K major service and issue rectification but disappointed on how they handle customer issue. Service advisor Hakimi was very kind but not helpful. I requested to put remark on infotainment system haywire issue and RR tyre puncture. But he just put request to update the MZD version and none mention on the real issue. For tyre no remark stated as he said service team will check all tyres. End up both issue not resolved and now i have to seek other sc.
