Being the first time trying to sell off my car, i had initially listed my car in the FB market. 2 weeks passed and i was only approached by either reseller or cheapskates.

Out of tireness, I then decided to go with Carsome. The registration procedure was really easy and their inspection centers opens even on weekend.

I chose Kelana Jaya branch as it was the closest from my place. My experience was really2 pleasant, every staffs were very polite, attentive and concise on explaining. The only thing I regretted was that I had wasted 2 weeks trying to sell the car myself.

So, my advice to car owners, if you value your time and emotion, jusy send your car to Carsome now. Let them handle it.

Some other information that might help:
1. Get the most early appointment time.
2. Arrive earlier than schedule, at least 30 minutes. They will start the inspection earlier than scheduled.
3. Come with 2 cars or prepare your grab app. They'll give the best offer if you are willing to let go the car on the spot after the inspection.
4. Payment will be credited to your account within few hours. In my case, less than 1 hour.

Given an estimated price of about RM28000 online for my car. Went for full inspection today and was advised that the car is in a very good condition. However, CARSOME can only offer RM10000 for the car as a mistake was made when the online estimated price was given. What a joke? Wasted my time.

Not fair at all. I did come for inspection and was given a very unfair price which doesn't even come close to their marketplace ads.total waste of time.: (

Not sure carsome is as great as advertised. Recently been to their Melaka branch trying to sell my car and was surprised as none of the steps are carried out as per advertised. In the end of the inspection, no offer was provided and no further answer from the branch. (this is where it felt weird). After a few calls to the customer reps - then the major and shocking surprise came - the carsome service rep informed me that my car was declared as "total loss". (which in fact is not true as I have evaluation from another platform). I understand as a business, carsome have the rights to refuse to offer or buy any car they don't want, but mislabeling and accused customer as "total loss" without any reason is definitely not acceptable.

Requested for an estimation for my 6 year old car and was told online that I could potentially sell it for 50+k. After the inspection, was only offered 30+k. The technician clarified that was the buying price for my car and not the selling price. Why should you show me the buying price? I am trying to sell my car after all. Is this just a cheap attempt to give me false hopes and lure me into wasting my time and effort to do an inspection? Thanks for wasting my time!

Didn't have a pleasant experience visiting here. Carsome address is so confusing. There are inspection center and transaction office, both at different location and you need to make a big uturn to reach transaction office from inspection center.

When I first reached inspection center, the staffs didn't update us the transaction office is close earlier because of puasa. The info is not updated on their website too. When I reached the transaction office at 4.15pm, the staffs said it's close at 4pm, last number at 3pm. What? !

They all still sitting there playing phone and doing nothing.

Transaction was smooth and quick. I had valuation done at PJ and requested to transact at Kelana Jaya 3 days later. Systematic and clarity through out the entire process. Thumbs up for Friendly and prompt service.

When I sent in my car for their inspection, the team served me immediately, and the waiting area was very comfortable. The inspection was done in less than an hour. Their bidding platform is well established. Upon the completion of ownership transfer, money was paid to my bank account within an hour! I am so happy to sell my car with this effective team. Highly recommended!

The main office is behind, in an alley, up the lifts. But, you can get your car appraised at any one of the shops you see in front.
