Komtar building is the landmark of Penang. It is where the Penang Government office is located. This place is simply nostalgic.another time capsule of Penang which is still buzzing with activities till today.

Nice mall together with some offices and also tourist attractions (Tower). Nice food outlets available also. There’s something for everyone in the family young n old. Located easily in the heart of Georgetown n also near other Malls- Prangin and 1st Avenue. There’s also a local supermarket which has economical goods. Quite an interesting area n worth a visit n stroll.

The toilet still need to pay for use. And I "can't" afford to pay that's why I didn't use the toilet and I don't like to go again. The Top is brand new and special, but Komtar is so so.
Old and not well maintained, environment have too many shops closed and corridor feel like entering no people zone in a darker area.

Komtar has evolved over the years and it's now a must visit place for all especially families with kids. There's everything for everyone. From food to shopping to thrills. It's a family fun place

Very nice attraction on the heart of Georgetown Penang island. Suggest going in the daytime to get the best view. Ate at the Coca Cabana restaurant and enjoyed an awesome outdoor deck on the 68th floor (The Top).

Loved it! It has so many attraction that we didn't have time to explore it all. The main attraction for the kids is the Dinosaurs, they look so real and so menacingly scary. Then there's the TOP, and we also went inside the glass maze (forgot the name of the attraction). We haven't got the chance to go inside the aquarium, but from the pictures from the brochure it looked nice.

Lots of things to do for both children and adults. Highly recommended to get the package ticket if you plan to see most of the attractions.

Some attractions need to pay more.

The symbol of Penang. Well designed and contains alot of shops and resturants. Hoever, you need to pay in order to reach the high floors, why do i need to pay for a good view? I understand if i am going to a resturant or pay for a room. But for a view? Come on people.

Komtar is a place where you have the top tower which from the top has a great view of Penang around George Town and beyond. The food and drinks on top level of the tower are terrible so don’t bother eating or drinking there though for around 100 rm adult and I think half of that for a child you can do a variety of activities including the dinasour park which is a must see for young kids. The shopping in surrounding shops is also very good and worth a look if you are after bargains as there is several shopping centres all in a short walk.

Such a beautiful place to go take pictures. There are statues of celebrities and an art gallery, many places to eat too!

Barang harga okay & berbaloi. Walaupun bangunan nampak lama, tapi lokasi moden adalah pada tingkat 6 & keatas. Kalau nak naik keatas lagi untuk pelbagai aktiviti menarik, tiket agak mahal (RM75 dewasa). Pejabat kerajaan juga disini.

If you are looking for the best spot to view Penang Island, the Top Komtar would be the best. You can also have a great and wonderful family time there because they have a few indoors activities for all ages.
