Weng Yin Seafood Village

The small dish is terrible, the price and the weight are not proportional at all. I don’t recommend it.

1 star for food, 5 stars for the service. Ya the services are good, but the food was under our expectation selling at very high price. Not really worth it.

The food is very bad~none of them tastes good. Especially the Bamboo Beach has a lot of sand. Responsible and unwilling to change

I'm unable to comment on their seafood because ironically enough, we didn't try their seafood dishes despite them specialising in seafood.

Despite all that, we had an enjoyable lunch here. Their veggies and egg was flavourful. The main dish we ordered was their Yam Ring with Marmite Pork filling. That dish was amazing. I loved the flavours of the yam and pork together. Overall, we spent about RM90 for a 4 pax meal.

However, there is one issue I would like to comment on. There are a ton of flies around our eating area. We spent more than half the time trying to swat the flies away while trying our best to enjoy our lunch. I do hope they resolve this fly issue because not only is it annoying, it's not very hygienic.

Was looking for places to eat in Port Dickson as I have not been here for 30 years and through blogs, came across this place. It feel the food is ok but liked the attentive service from the staff.

It is a stir fry stall that's under the Hawthorne effects of celebrities like Jay Chou. Foods are decent, ample parkings around the family operated restaurant. To give you a relative bench marking of the cost of a dinner, four of us ordered a sea bass, a small tofu, the crayfish which someone commented that the meat was tiny, a plate butter prawns, a jug of herbal tea and finally a big pack of prawn crackers. We paid RM160 for all these which I thought the price is very reasonable in face of inflation.

Reasonably priced seafood but only crabs were live. Rest were frozen stock. Ample parking. Season was ok but prawns not fresh. Staff service was good.

We ordered the crab but it was too slow to serve it to us. We finished all the other dishes then only it came. Dishes are pricy!

Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Will come again if visiting Port Dickson again in the future.

Butter sotong and nestum oat chicken is a must. Highly recommended.

Ice cream is good. Food is also good. The usual seafood. In PD, its the place for dinner without getting cuthroat. Will definitely revisit. Family setting.

Food not as good as before. Wanted the give 3 star but decided to revise to 2 star based on the price vs food quality. Quality dropped quite significantly. This is our eighth or ninth times here but won't return for this restaurant again for the moment. Hopefully they will review and improve the food quality.

Reasonably priced food. I think they should change the photos in their menu. Doesn't do justice to the food served.

We were told we need to wait 1-1.5 hours for the food and we were okay with it since it seems famous in Port Dickson.

Food comes after an hour, and it was pathetic.medium portion chicken is like small portion by KL standard. Toufu soup medium has only few small Japanese taufu, jaw drop.

We couldn't wait and couldn't bear the further disappointment, so we cancelled our seafood dishes and left. Damage control ^^"

1 Soup, 1 vege, 1 egg, 1 chicken dish, a jug of tea, 5 rice. RM 90+ okay lah.like eating mix rice.

Moral of the story: check review before hopping on to "famous restaurant".

2 hours waiting for my dinner. Do you think this is appropriate restaurant management to arrange food for 2hours to customers?

Verdict: Ok taste but at KL's price level.

Before visited, the rating was below 3 stars though many people said this is famous in PD. Now agreed with many reviewers before me. 10 pax cost >RM500 with four crabs costing ~RM200 + 6 other dishes, but fair as this was informed beforehand.

What disgusted us was the very smelly and dirty toilets with many flies flying between toilets and dining hall, and from time to time can the toilet smell in the dining hall.

Hot + slow + house flies + expensive + taste worst then my own cook, no idea why Jay Chou come here.

Food are good but you must know to choose right meal if not end up with all sweet taste.so good combo is a must. Nice service, clean and good food.

We had crab, har gu, fried egg and vege.vege is super tasteless, taste as plain as water.fried egg is the worst.soaking in oil and tasteless.lanzi crab taste like tomato sauce crab.hargu is ok.worst thing is the service.family queuing behind us was seated before us.when we question it, the lady taking order took us to a table tat juz seated and ask us to wait at there.seriously?
then when we ask people to take order, we need to beg for one of them to take order.seriously worst experience

Crabs are really fresh and price is reasonable

Ordered salted egg crabs, kam Heong lala, Tung Hoon noodles. All super delicious! Highly recommend the place:)

Had fried rice and egg noodles for 2 pax each meal. Food not good, seemed to be made in a rush. Ordered apple juice, was ok. RM50 for all of the above. Not worth the money. Will not go again.
