Weng Yin Seafood Village reviews
75Tried the food. Verge not so fresh. So was the tofu. Salted chicken was ok. Price was reasonable.
Overall quite tasty. Fish was only half, but shld be what was quoted abt 800g. Pricing was ok. 218 ringgit for 7 dishes. Menu came with prices so its clear and transparent. Salted egg squid and oyster egg was best imo.
Food portion: Tiny
Food Taste: Below Average
Nicely decorated restaurant.
Price is on the high side, served with small portion.
Tried their coconut prawn, signature herbal chicken, not really recommended as the taste was too watery.
Their three taste fish was ok.
Not really recommended, but they do have ample of seats inside.
Food pricey and taste only average.
Nothing special!
Order prawns medium which cost 49rm, but the size of the prawns is at best mid-small. Dishes portion is also average. A small hor fun cost. 10rm, that's high considering local standards.
Ordered normal size crab for 2. RM120+ at this restaurant. On the next day, ordered the same size crab for 2 at another restaurant, only paid RM60+ with more good taste. So. Please Judge at your own.
Pricey and sorry to say that we won't come back again. The simplest vegetables but waited for more than 30mins, end up said that kitchen never prepare. Well, we just cancelled. One teowchew steam siakap (small) and small portion salted egg squids, two pax with RM98.
Waited 10 minutes trying to get the menu. Food was bland at best. Beer did not arrive. Bill wasn't able to be gotten. Had to go to counter to pay. Won't be visiting again anytime soon.
That was my first meal in this restaurant but will also be my last as well. I ordered a steam fish but the flesh still sticked firmly to the bone. For goodness sake, I am serving it to my 18 months old daughter!
I ordered 2.plates of fried kway teow as the first.plate.was insuffifient. To my dismay, the. 2nd plate was lighter.in.colour and.taste bland as well.
Good food at good price. The 3 taste fish was really good but the Kam heong crab was a little over rated, it was good though. Highly recommend the salted egg sotong.
This is not at all the food there but the small lil' gelato/ice cream Hut in the vicinity of the restaurant. Homemade and only open on certain days.
Love the vanilla flavoured one.
Excellent crab bee hoon, 干煎prawns. I might come back again for dinner. Place is local style shop so the 4 star, 5 star for food.
Service by staff was rather impatient, but the boss is very helpful to us as we tried to get a grab from the eateries. Overall kangkong, you mai vegetables was good. But the fuyong egg was slight salty. We ordered a buttermilk crab as well at 130RM for 1kg size.
Probably one of the biggest n best seafood restaurant in Port Dickson.
Quite large with about 25 to 30 tables. However food is slow in coming which is the norm in small towns especially if u r the late arrivals after the main crowd has made their orders n awaiting their dishes to be cooked.
Good variety of seafood with various type of cooking to choose from the menu.
Price is quite reasonable.
Great seafood at reasonable prices. Ice cream stall that opens during weekends are really good, not t9 be missed!
Good food and quick service. Not bad at all. Black pepper crabs excellent. Standard fried rice very good too. Used as regular Chinese eatery, so if the locals like it, it must be OK. Several tourist buses also use it as well.
