We are sending our company car for maintenance and major repairs at German Motors. The technician are very knowledgeable and help to solve car problems. We are almost 6 years sending the car to German motors, they do good job. Reliable, good service and trustworthy

I bought my Audi A7 new 11 years ago, Audi tried to look after it for a couple of years under warranty and since then it’s been handled by German Motors (GM), so it’s been under their care for 9 years.

I decided to go for German Motors for a few reasons:
1. Audi Malaysia are useless (they still are).
2. GM has enough volume of cars and enough reputation that it would not make sense for them to scam customers.
3. I had a strong conviction that the main owner of GM, Mr Fritz, was a perfectionist technician and an honest guy. I’m an entrepreneur, I need to judge people, that was my own view of him.

Over the years the major costs I’ve had are a replacement gearbox which cost me about RM8-10k and a timing belt go which might have been RM5k. Expensive, but this car costs a little less than an Audi A8, so I can’t complain.

I’ve always felt that the team here is technically good and honest, but I don’t know much about the internal mechanics of a car.

Ok, so the reason I’ve written this review is that my last repair was the biggest by far, things went wrong, very wrong, BUT because of it I’ve realised how amazing GM are, but only when I ended up speaking to Mr Fritz, the owner. So, I was given an estimate of RM16-21k for a major oil leak and some other issues. Once the engine was taken out of the car I was told it’d be RM31k. I was obviously not happy and after speaking to Mr Fritz, he said they would be able to get it to RM24.5k. And then, when I came to collect my repaired car, I went for a test drive and the steering rack made a sound and so I refused to accept back the car. It was only when the issue was raised with Mr Fritz did they agree to sort it out, and in the end that meant changing the steering rack at their cost.

Why was I told RM31k for it to come down to RM24.5k after speaking to Mr Fritz? Why did they want to give me back a car with a damaged steering rack, but agree to rectify it only after Mr Fritz got involved? I think GM need to look at what went wrong here.

BUT, at the end of the day, they did something few, if any, car garages in Malaysia would do. They took responsibility. They changed the steering rack for completely free. That is incredible.

It’s worth bearing in mind that this is the first time in 9 YEARS I’ve had ANY ‘argument’ with them, and look how brilliantly they eventually responded. That speaks volumes.

I’ve now spoken at great length with many staff at GM due to this recent repair which spanned over 10 weeks - Mr Vinesh, Mr Martin (a funny guy, he should start a YouTube channel), Mr Loh (very straightforward and easy to deal with), and Mr Amir Amin - and all have indicated to me, even when getting friendly, that Mr Fritz is a really honest guy with very high standards who they respect, and that’s ultimately what drives the actions of the staff in a business.

I have felt that for the years I’ve been entrusting GM, they’re a great team and they're very focused on the customer and meeting expectations. The garage is super tidy which is a great sign, and they are transparent with the work they do constantly sending me videos or images to show what they've done.

If you’re willing to pay to get your car looked after properly and honestly, look no further. They absolutely know what they’re doing, they never take shortcuts, and if you have a German car you need people who know what they’re doing looking after it, else years later you’ll pay big time.

Today, I have an 11-year-old Audi that drives beautifully, almost like new, perfect suspension, a quiet engine that growls wonderfully when pushed, I reckon it has at least another decade of life left in it, and I believe it’s a testament to the professionalism of the team at GM.

I’m keeping my car and not buying a new one because of German Motors. They’ve taken the stress out of having an old car, so buying a new one seems like a waste of money.

I am deeply indebted to the passionate and honest team at GM and Mr Fritz for allowing me to love driving and owning my car - a sincere thank you!

I am very pleased with German Motor’s Mr Vinesh who took extra effort on solving my car problem on time for my CNY celebration. His prompt, courteous and effective action renewed my confidence with GM. Kudos to him and German Motor!

My CLK200 has been serviced by German Motor since the day I owed it. Having a classic continental car.you really need someone who knows the car in and out. And I am so glad my car is maintenance tiptop until now.

The years am with German Motor, as a lady who doesn’t know much about car, I started to know how to feel and have earlier notice if anything wrong with my car as Mr Loh will share with me what to take notice when driving my car. Early detection of any faulty will safe you a hefty.

German Motors has earned my loyalty by consistently providing excellent service at what I feel are fair, reasonable prices. They have always resolved technical issues satisfactorily and with a very reasonable amount of time. I found German Motors as becoming exasperated with two dealership repair shops. The folks at German Motors are quite personable and professional which is what was lacking at other locations.

I brought my mercedes c250 for an air condition problem.it turned out to be a complicated issue. I am very happy with the way the handled it. Integrity is not a common word you associate with auto repair shops. The folks at German Motors seem to have it. Very refreshing. I will contiue to use them and highly recommend them.

I called to ask them about replacing a starter motor for a fairly new hybrid model. The RM check both on technical and estimated price with labour. Easy to fix an appointment and got it done at a fraction of the price had I gone back to Hap Seng Service Centre. Good experience and customer service.

Brought my 2016 W205 C-Class here for maintenance and replacement of parts.

Personnel were courteous, and very knowledgable and honest with recommendations. Parts and labour were priced fairly.

Will definitely be a returning customer, and cannot recommend it enough to others.

German Motors PJ, absolutely satisfied with Vinesh front line manager, Shaun team leader on handling my issue.
Had noise coming from my rear car, they manage to troubleshoot the problem, solve it, and returned my car nice and clean
Vinesh keeps me posted on the progress on a daily basis and updates me on the what’s happening

I would say German motors have a strong Management team, very good SOP, the bosses would greet u when they see u and even ask if there is coffee for u
I would come back again, and again, would send all my cars to this place.

Minimal experience on exotic cars. Even they claim their have expertise, they don’t. More risk and issues if taken there.

They are a complete waste of time. Their service advisor Steven is a conman beware of him. I changed my transmission oil with them and post that having issues with it. I have told my friends not to avail their services. They are really a waste of time.

Well known workshop for continental models. The workshop is organised and clean and have experienced personnel to work on your cars. A workshop i will recommend to anyone.

Best place in KL to service your European car. Used them for 4 years, always leaving happy after service with a clean car! Great customer service and follow up. Highly recommended!
