The halal food stalls werent such a great experience. Some of the pasembur pieces were going stale. Moreover the meal was expensive.

I can't even decide where to go, so I'm following my nose and the crowd. Must come from Tues-Saturday!

Be careful on food quality, I had a bad experience but I would say its because I was a tourists and didn't know between good ones and bad

Food from G. P. Soon Rojak (stall 79), Char Koay Teow (stall 71) were GREAT! Next to this hawker is Plaza Gurney which has a range of stores.

Would have given 5 star if not for the slightly inflated price. Its good to move around and try different stalls as people judge food quality or standard based on hw many people are lining up infront the stall.its usually like a chain reaction.if the stall manage to get crowd early on, then it would be for whole night. Some stalls which are hidden have very good food too.so do walk around n try different stalls during ur visits.ul find hidden wonders there.

I went to the food stall and had kuew teow and satay. I was here before and the food was so much tastier compare to daughter and my experience today. It was tasteless. What a disappointment

Great food and hawker atmosphere. People here are friendly and approachable if you have any queries. Note that you will likely need to buy a drink from the nearest drink store in 'exchange' for the seats and table. Excellent value for food that is on par.

A nice place to hv alittle of everything.my advice is to go for food with price listed. AH Chye rojak is my favourite here.if you decide to go for rojak Pesembur is better you ask how much per piece in order to avoid be shocked by the price charged later.i frankly felt cheated.
I would hv rate this place 4 star if not for the absurd price of the pesembur.

Decent Penang food but best to get a local to guide you as there are a few duds. If you don't know a local, stick to Penang food basics of char kway teow, or chian (fried oysters, chee cheong fun (with belacan sauce), rojak, pasembur and lo bak (assorted fried stuff with dipping sauce).

Open air eatery - hawkers will open umbrellas to cover the table though best to go when its not raining.

Best to park at Plaza Gurney and walk over.

78 stall cendol was amazing! For 4 rm, you get a generous portion of the icy delight. I especially liked that there was a lot more ice than other places. Ladies are very sweet and friendly.

Too many stalls but I don't think any of them offers anything good. I recommend skipping this and go to other place

Some stalls are open at 4pm. There are bus load of tourists. Many repeated stalls selling same items. My choice are the stalls that are busy preparing food and the fragrance of what's cooking.

Food is so bad here. Bland, pricey char kuew teow. Watery assam laksa. You probably have to go once to believe how bad it is. Never coming back again.

Crowded and overpriced food. Less carpark and place to sit. Avoid rojak if need remember to ask the price before having the food.

Local council should address the buss owners to keep up their cleaniness & hygiene practice. Buss owners too must proactive to keep the place clean.

Tourism place to search for food. Although a bit expensive, you can find variety of food here without difficulty. Must try sotong bakar, kwetiaw soup, wan tan noodle, laksa

Semacam kumpulan street food di penang, banyak macam makanan disini. Untuk rasa selera masing-masing. Tapi kalau buat saya kurang cocok. Tapi tempatnya asik buat nongkrong.
