Bee Hooi Restaurant reviews
46There’s still room for improvement on the air ventilation of the shop. Char Koay Teow and Poh Piah is recommendable!
The Singapore fried bee hoon and the Western food stall are awesome. Do try the char koay teow also. I found the taste is not bad as well
The most expensive no air-con coffee shop in Penang. They sell. Chicken rice, char Koay Teow, Assorted soup n yam rice, western and Thai food. At this Lock down. MCO time. One can only pack away. Can not eat in the coffee shop.
Best known for their char koay teow and the chicken rice during the dinner time! Also their lorbak and western food are great!
This is a local kopitiam for people living in the Pulau Tikus area. Food we grew up with include popiah laksa char kway tiao. Recently I tried the nasi kandar for the first time. Not bad. Kuah campur brilliant.
Favourite go to place for a quick meal. Loved the chicken rice, chicken porridge, fried oyster omelette and poh piah. The fried oyster omelette is one of the best around!
Food prices a little bit on the high side. Popiah was tasty. Char Kuay Teow and the fish head beehoon was average. My favourite was the Hokkien Mee. The restaurant has many different food stalls, a good plus point.
Overall ok as its got all the popular dishes. However we didnt find the food spectacular except for the oh chien (Oyster omelette) and lobak. Not the best but its ok.
Surprisingly, the fishball mee hoon soup was satisfying as my kid said her char kuey teow wasnt that tasty. She ordered a 2nd dish. The char hor fun is mediocre. There are better hawker fares elsewhere.
Nice foods! I tried their char kuey tiao, char hor fun, pan mee, western food, chicken rice, and spring roll. Really a nice place for dinner.
Lots of local food. Most of it is above average. Reasonably priced. Parking can be quite hard to find during dinner time.
If you're in PulauTikus in the evening, looking for a good place for dinner is easy - Bee Hooi. Char koay teow, char hor fun, chicken rice and porridge, and fried oysters are all very tasty. During weekends and school holidays, you have to wait for 15 minutes or longer to be served.
Kwetiau di sini benar2 spesial, nasi kandar mantul, ada lagi menu2 lain2 ada ayam pop, tom yum sea food.mantap.wih kangen kesana lagi. Wisata medis bulan april 2018
The fried oyster omelette is something to die for! Hokkien Mee there is great too! Weekends are quite crowded though.
The steam fish stall is worth a try. Price very reasonable & fish is fresh. Boss is friendly too.think most stalls like Loh Mee, Fried Hor Fan are good too. Tourist who goes around that area can explore. Locals don't go to gurney drive hawker center n this shop is long standing n famous.
Char Koay Teow is nice. 2 big prawns. RM 8 per plate. Uncle still using charcoal to fried. Not many stall using that. Kudos.
The oyster omlette and sau hor fun was delicious. But was shocked that you must pay 50cents if you are not ordering drinks!
Lots of good food. Char kuew teow, pasembor, loh bak, and much more! If a table doesn't order drinkd it's a 50 sens "penalty". Opens till late night.
All food here is super great! Been eating here for years and still it never wears me out. Try the pastas, loh bak, and loh mee.
Food was normal. The coffee boy/cleaner will sweep whatever on the table on the floor after every customer. It sticks on your shoe so it makes the floor messy.
