Taman Tasik Metropolitan Kepong reviews
104Beautiful park, lots of shade, good paths for walking, cycling. Lots of open spaces for kite flying. I did not give 5 stars because the parking is bad. Can the authorities please make parking spaces? Also, not totally important but good for safety if they can drow a line down the walking path with one side for cyclists and the other for joggers/pedestrians. I see that it works effectively in san francisco. Safer for the children
There are no toilets. The toilets are always kept locked for reasons only DBKL could answer. I hv been going to this park for many years and the toilets are kept locked no matter what time. Today as I was walking past toilet number TMK3 it was locked as always
Park is nice but now with condo development around it, slowly it is deteriorating. Yesterday one area of the park was full of sand that was washed into the park from the construction site next to the park. Upkeep of park is also not as good as before. DBKL should really look into the deterioration of the park. I have been visiting this park for about 5 years and each year it is getting worse and worse. Parking is free but toilet costs 20 sen per visit. Some of the amenities at the playground is also broken and may not be safe for use. Attached photo shows one of the broken exercise equipment. There is a crack and no warning posted that it is unfit for use.
Public garden with the biggest lake in Kuala Lumpur. Very nice enviroment but parking a bit problem as the new car park still under construction.
You can walk, run, cycling, play kites. Got bicycle rental, got food truck. Good playground for kids.
Downside is the construction of condominium now and another one coming soon that cause dusty at certain area especially the side entrance from jalan metro perdana.
Good sport and recreation area. However probe to petty thefts for parties vehicles and snatching of valuable s from patrons. Advice: don't t take your phone along for your run. I strong suggest the authorities strictly ban motorcyclists from using the area to greatly decrease the robberies. Personals using the area should be in uniforms of their respective line of duty.
April 21,3019. Still under a very long renovation process by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). The place attracts huge crowd esp during weekdays as there are limited parks in city centre. (The Taman Tasik Titiwangsa also under long renovation). That translates to massive traffic at this part of MRR2. Mayor's office need to check on this.
It’s good place to hangout or picnic with family and friends. Got great places for cycling and jogging. Nicely designed, many places for kids to run around and for couples to have a romantic moment. Well maintained, wonderful ambience, Beautiful gardens and fountains etc.
Nice place to bring your kids to play.
Citizens should really take care of your own trashes and PLEASE DON'T LITTER & NO SMOKING.
We want better Malaysia, and it all starts within ourselves. Take care of our nature, hence we will get back what we nurture. Peace~
Great space for leisure and some down time. Worthy of bringing friends, family and loved ones around. Closest at 8PM. Theres plenty of food stalls also and ample space for the sunset
Vast space for kite flying, blow bubbles and picnic besides having street vendors peddling a variety of delicacies & items.
Really enjoyed the trip here with my family. There are lots to do along the lake path. There are also rows of stalls for those hungry or thirsty.
Good. Can jog. Can cycle. Can kit. You name it, u have it but avoid during dark hours to prevent robery. It happens.
Great place to run/jog, its about 3.5-3.75km per loop, depending on which track you take. Slightly hilly on certain part. Pack on weekends evening coz that's where u have many people fly kites here.
This recreation park is ideal for jogging, it takes around 30-1 hour to complete a loop run/walk along the park (depends on your speed). But this place doesn't have enough car park, many people always park their car at the road side causing moderate/serious traffic congestion.
Crowded on the weekend and popular public park. Really hard to find parking. Still one of the best urban park that offer many recreation activities for whole family.
Nice place to run. The tracks are not sloppy, perfect for speed and endurance training. 3.8km to be exact for a full track, if you are taking all the RIGHT path decisions. Best time to start is 7am and 9am to end if UV is your concern.
Nice place! Playground, can rent bicycle, scooter etc.can even go fishing aroud tasik. Nice view suitable for event fotoshoot etc.
Nice place. Can bring mats to sit and enjoy the evening. Kites, toys, food, bicycles, electric cars for kids available.
The lake is very nice too.
After Taman tasik Titiwangsa, this is the place that's nearest to Kuala Lumpur. What I've seen is, this place is huge.
