Interesting place to visit. For us it was absolutely free of charge. The guide was talking about the story about this place/company. Also we saw how they produce some of their items. At the end there is a shop where I could buy their products

Ive visited the place few times and I must say it looks better than the last time I saw it. There are tours available everyday and our guide Ivan was very informative and responsive to our queries.

Will recommend for people visiting malaysia or family with kids.

We had a guided tour there, start from the museum and ended by workshop to try making a bowl. Nice experience. Oh there is also a souvenir shop available before you exit the building

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre is recognised as one of the top tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur.
Wander through intriguing museum exhibits and witness real-time pewter crafting and end your tour with hands-on pewtersmithing workshops.
Explore the events that will put you in the thick of the tin rush in colonial Malaya, and the founding in 1885 of Royal Selangor, maker of the world’s finest pewte.

Royal Selangor is a huge factory in Kuala Lumpur.
We were able to get the guide tour through the whole place.
It's something different, we enjoyed it

I like the ambience and the food at the Royal Selangor cafe. A very nice, serene place for a good meal or biz discussion. Definitely a well kept secret among the local residents here

Join the free guided tour with my family, we were served by Tracy, a mandarin speaking guide who is very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is really fun and informative as we get to visit the museum to learn about the history and look at the preserved pewter. The Science Discovery Gallery allowed us to play along as well. The most memorable experience is the Live Craftmanship Showcase which we were able to watch how the well-trained pewtersmiths craft each products (and we also have the chance to try on!). This is definitely a must-visit place in Selangor!

Definitely a place to bring foreign friends to come here. The muzium tour are free.

It's really really good. Can also pay to do your own pewter handcraft item to bring back.

We only came for the tour and it was first time. Really recommended to come here. Probably could bring the children and do their own handcraft work.

Hidden gem in KL. Love their quiet and cozy environment and coffee. It's also a good ppace for family. Only thing is the food selection is quite limited.

Try the foundry class, they allow us to bring back the pewter we made. Learn how to craft something small and simple. Really enjoy the class and the history of royal selangor.
End up bought some gift for parents at the souvenier shop.
Thanks Cloee and Hafiz

This is a handcrafted items factory. I'm amazed to see the way they are making things. Recommending to visit this place if you travel to Kuala Lumpur. All unique design preparing by hand only. Really amazing.

Well thought-out place, entry is free and there’s a lot to see and check out too. Has a little play space for the kids, and you can even take part in (paid) activities and a little cafe near the store just before you leave.

Nice place to visit. They have a museum (which is closed during MCO) on the top floor, a sales galley & a cafe at the bottom floor. It was fun and interesting to visit here. The staffs were kind and polite and their services were excellent. There is a factory behind the visitor center. Parking lot is huge so no worries on not able to find parking slots.
