I think it would be a good idea to visit at least once and take a quick look around. On the afternoon we visited, it wasn't too hot because there was a light breeze and clouds. It would be a good idea to check the weather before visiting.

There are a large number of birds roaming around the area where they are released on the street, and this is my first time seeing so many peacocks.

The entrance fee seems to be a bit high for foreign tourists compared to Malaysian prices.

Very nice place to hang up. And to exercise. Very calm and cools. You can brings your kids here, they also can play. Have playground there. Lots of nice chairs and banch near the lake and it's very peaceful there. I love coming here. In sya Allah will come and visit here again.
Come come and experience it yourself. They also have clean toilet and have friendly staff. You also can have picnic here. Just make sure you throw your rubbish into a dustbin. Okay?
Take care of nature, the nature will take care of you.
Peace.

Never expect there is such beautiful and huge park nested in the middle of a busy city. Spent one and a half hour here and was only able to walk through half of the park. So make sure to bring comfortable shoes.

A vast area of greenery that is relaxing and calming. Also, can be a good place to do some outdoor activities such as cycling, jogging, picnic and even playing badminton!

Thumbs up to the authority for this well maintained park and hopefully all visitors will take good care of this precious gem.

Went here on a public holiday. The parking was already full by 7.30am.had to park at the nearby "parking bertingkat" which was quite some walk away. The place was swarming with joggers, long-distance-runners doing their training and parents with their kids, which is something that was expected. There were also a lot of park goers having picnic around by the lake and around the shades. Overall it's a great place smacked in the middle of the city for you to get your fresh dose of oxygen hit, as well as for kids to have a free run without any restrictions. There's also a lot of trees around with name cards and translations placed on them, so your outing can be an educational trip as well. If the park had easily accessible maps and water outlets (to fill up water or to wash your muddy shoes) then that'd have been even better.

Almost a weekend affair for my little family. Big shady trees on the trail and we love to take a break at the huge canopy. Can easily spend a few hours there in the morning.

Built in 1889, this piece of paradise has changed names many times maybe to shed it's British era colonial past and make it sound more Malaysian. This botanical garden seems to be thriving in humid weather and provides not only relief, comfort in heat, but all kinds of educational, learning and conservation efforts that city is making to promote awareness and importance of having a nature presence in an urban jungle like KL.

There are many attractions within the whole area. If you just want a city park experience, the entry is free with multiple entry points and you have access to ponds, lake, mini waterfalls, shaded tree areas, historic heritage buildings and monuments. For animal lovers there's a butterfly museum, deer and bird park.
And those with deeper appreciation for natural world, there are various botanical gardens with rare plants/flowers/trees that are not only native to the region but from different parts of the the world that can also grow in tropic climate.

It's one place I can never get tired of.
