My husband was discharged on last Friday.
During discharged the ward did not provide us the MRI report.
Today I called several times to difference department: Admission/ Clinic/ Discharge department.
All mentioned don't know where the MRI report!
The hospital did not have a systematic to control patient report at all if compare to other private hospital that we admitted before!

For such an expensive hospital with its big reputation, the inefficiency and lack of communication from staff is mind boggling. Even simple admin tasks such as billing takes a few hours. Wouldn’t be my first choice going forward.

What a pleasure to be a patient at pantai, sooper clean.extremely professional, well organized, staff were fantastic, i definitely recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone

The doctors are good. The facilities are excellent. However, there's something wrong with the queue management especially in the imaging department. The queue is not first come first serve basis and instead is more likely by a preference. Take along your jacket as it is quite cold in there.

Update: The emergency department will rip you off, especially if you are a foreigner who pays taxes.

The admission and discharge system are more efficient than my son's last stay 6 years ago. The staffs quality are good from the cleaner to the doctor. We feel relaxed eventhough my son have to go through a major surgery. Highly recommended.

1. When I at emergency department I was told to sit outside nearby emergency car park to take neb (with tong gas) looks like at government hosp should put us good place la not outside raining some more.and when neb finish no one come to check then I need to call the nurse to come hadoiii.
2. I'm not satisfied with this paed Dr A.he is not friendly I think as paed you should be friendly to kid make fun so that they feel happy.and nurse said he will come check us again 3-4pm and I waited till 5 plus he still not come and my kid feel bored wanted to buy bread at lobby then when I came back at room they said Dr A left and no longer come.feel mad.you should just call us or wait for awhile.hadoii.

Came at imaging dept at 830 am and only 2 patients before me, other patients came in later was served, it’s almost 10am and I still haven’t goin through yet. Don’t understand but it’s already a put off and I have to go another department after this

Clean and well-equipped hospital.
Attentive and friendly staff.
Doctor & nurses were kind and helpful.
There are cafe, food court and convenience store around.
Worth the price. Recommended.

First and the last time coming to this hospital. Came for an appointment at the specialist clinic and had to wait 2 hours to see a doctor. At the admission they took a deposit of rm10000 and only got admitted at 930 pm for high fever and no one attended us for hours. No iv drip no medications given, not even a simple blood test. Got fed up at 1230am from waiting and decided to transfer to a different hospital. Bill charges came and they charged us one full day and half day boarding, even when we were there for less than 4 hours. On top of that they charged “nursing bills” when the reason we left is because NO NURSE attended to us. Stupid hospital.

Unfortunately, we had harrowing experiences with Pantai Hospital, not once but twice.
First experience was during pandemic time, so we excused it. We went for acute stomach pain but they made us to wait for 4 hrs. We rushed to the emergency for acute stomach pain by 11.00 pm but we were attended only by 3.00 am.
We pacified ourselves saying maybe due to pandemic such long hours.
But very recently we had to go to emergency for high fever, the personnel at the reception did inform us that it might take 1 hr, there were only 5 patient but already waiting for 3 hrs, we waited for 2 hrs for someone to attend, with my child cramping into a chair with high fever, trying to sleep. We couldn't tolerate beyond 12.00 am so left the place, thinking it is much better to sleep at the comforts of a bed having a paracetamol, than cramping into a chair in the cold reception area. More provoking was the attitude of the staffs at the hospital, in fact one of them said to a fellow patient attender “our hospital is so famous that you have to wait to get treated”, which we couldn't stand.
Being healthcare professionals ourselves, we do understand the triage system & the level of stress staff at the hospital undergo, but this type of attitude and the manner the receive & treat the patient at emergency ward was horrifying.
The next morning, we went to another private hospital 6 km away from Pantai Hospital, which was very cordial & quick in responding. The consultation & test all together took less than an hour, despite being a public holiday. Unfortunately we had to admitted my kid. If the staff at Pantai hospital had attended on time, we could have started the treatment the previous day.
Lesson learnt, even at the at most emergency we would never choose Pantai Hospital!
Also will never recommend it to anyone!

Kami sekeluarga memang x pernah pergi hospital lain denggi, tb, demam, semua warded di pantai dan x pernah mengecewakan.tapi mlm ni agak kecewa sikit bila bawa anak yg batuk demam selsema cuma diberi ubat balik mkn ubat keadaannya lg teruk septutnya lepas mkn ubat selalu panas turun ni lg naik lg teruk. Tak ada pula nak ambil darah ker nak cek apa punca dan masalah seolah2 mcm pergi klinik luar pula cuma ambil ubat.kena cari tmpt lain la pula.

1.plenty of parking compare to UMSC.

2.all staff is friendly and serve us well.

3.got free wifi up to 100 mbps.i like it

4.atm machine like photo (maybank cimb public)

5.waiting area follow SOP covid 19

6.family mart, chicken rice shop, starbucks

parking rate RM 9.90 around 2.5 hours.

XRAY DEPARTMENT QUITE CLOUD AFTER LUNCH HOURS. IF DONT WANT TO WAIT CAN COME ON 9.00AM. (base on my experience)

make a call for appointment before coming.

Best medical centre in Klang Valley. Staff are friendly, always ready to go extra miles to help. Vaccine centre smooth sailing, all staff very helpful. Dee-lyn attends to all questions.

Dr Paul Ng is the best Gynae I have ever had.he is a true compassionate Doctor and professional. 100% Like.

The above rating was done few years ago. Today i called the hospital again for covid vaccine information. This private hospital is thus far the best in my experience. The receptionists are attentive in answering phone, they are polite, courteous, organized and knowledgeable. Some "big" private hospital can't even be bothered to window dress their frontliners. Kudos pantai hospital.

Visited Dr Pasupathy clinic for orthopedic for my wife on 23 and 25 Oct 2021. The doctor is good. However the nurse at the clinic was treat us very badly, not friendly, not helping and I can see some discrimination in entertaint the patient who visited the clinic. When I was standing at counter, they talking nicely with smile with another doctor who bring patient to that clinic. I guess probably some doctor from same hospital bring relative to visit Dr Pasupathy. It really hurthing with such service.
However we went to XRay/MRI department to collect our MRI report, we had meet fantastic staff who really entertaint all the patient with smiling face and a very good welcome including us. This at least calm us for while after had bad experience in this hospital.
We used to go Sunway and SJMC hospital for few medication and admission. The system and process at that hospital far way better than Pantai Hospital. My wife came for knee pain and she have to go by her self for x-ray which totally in some other building, no assist from anyone and the way they handling for the insurance, admission and other was not really good.
Now we doing treatment in another private hospital and we decided not to come here anymore unless if really needed for some specialist if can't get from other hospital.
My suggestion is to improve the front office procedure and to give good service for patient as we are paying for it even it's insurance claim. To review good procedure such as Sunway and SJMC hospital. The patient not depending on Hospital but you need us for your business success.
