If traveling to Malaysia, take the time to visit the attractions of The King's Palace or also known as the State Palace. There, tourists can see the architecture and take pictures with the guards at the palace door.

In the palace court, seen hundreds of tourists entering one of the attractions in the city of Kuala Lumpur, after getting off the bus each. The tourists come and gather in the palace doorway.

When he reached the court of the palace, tourists can see the architecture of the palace building where "Yang in Pertuan Agong" works as the King of Malaysia. KompasTravel visited The King's Palace with a tour guide from the Malaysia Tourism Board.

From the court, white, yellow and golden colors adorn the architecture of the building. Gold colored calligraphy engraved on the main gate. At the same gate, there were four palace guards wearing white and red shirts. Jeevan explained the guards were tasked with guarding the palace.

Red warrior style of dress, he continued, inspired by British soldiers. That's because historically and in the administration of the country, Malaysia is a British Commonwealth country. At the palace door, red uniformed guards were on duty using horses.

While the guards in white uniforms and in traditional sarong dresses only stand with bayonets. They look alert and calm even though the tourists take pictures in front of them.

The King's Palace is a building that was once occupied by Chinese billionaires. This building was built in 1928 and during the Japanese occupancy period of 1942-1945, this building was used as a mes for Japanese leaders.

After the Japanese surrender, the building was taken over by the Selangor State Government. The building which has golden domes is not open to the public. Jeevan said tourists can only take pictures around the palace doorway.

The King's Palace is located on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Tourists who want to go to The King's Palace, tourists can use transportation that is hop-on bus from the city center, taxis, and if you go in a group you can rent a car. If using a taxi, Jeevan said tourists would pay 10-15 Malaysian Ringgit.

You can only see it from outside the gate and take photos. Or, go to the small souvenir shop to buy some ice cream and enjoy it on a park bench while enjoying the scenery.

This is the king's place. A place with history. Plan to visit early as it can get very hot there. No shade near the place. Not much to see, just few pictures to be taken. Free toilets are available. Went there as part of the half day tour.

The Palace is huge and spectacular in Islamic style, royal and secured by royal guards and horses. We are having fortune to see and greet Sultan Emperor going out from Palace and the passage was cleared by guards with tens of cars snd motorbikes leading him to leave the palace.

It's a beautiful palace where u can take pictures of the surrounding and the guards that was on duty
However for the horse they seems uncomfortable in their position with the headgear
Unfortunately u can't enter into the palace directly
There's even a souvenir shop and ice cream shop at here

You can't go into the palace as far as I'm aware but the tour buses all stop off here for a quick pit stop. Beautiful gardens and an opportunity for a photo with a soldier smartly dressed in the national dress is there if you want it. Small shop and toilets on the car park but you wouldn't spend more than 20 minutes here really.

When you visit the national palace, you must bring umbrella or hat, the place so hot. Visitor only can take the picture from outside and don’t too much expectation from this place.
