We’ve visited this masjid a number of times and also brought over visitors to enjoy its grandeur. During this visit the security and the lady at the counter for dress codes was quite rude. Kindness costs nothing and if a tourist needs a head scarf she doesn’t need to hear a lecture about it! The attitude was very unpleasant.

One of the most beautiful architectures of a masjid mixed up with modern architecture can be seen here.
So calm, so peaceful and a big area covered by the masjid. A very beautiful masjid to visit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Walking distance from pasar seni metro station.
Thanks

Lovely. Bright, elegant architecture, without ostentation. It maintains the spirit of the mosques of a thousand years ago. But what I liked most was the perfect organization of access for tourists and the warm welcome from the entrance staff and the volunteers with whom we spoke as friends of life and religion, from harmony and peace between people and religions.

Very beautiful mosque, very well maintained that we had the opportunity to go there on several occasions during our trip to Malaysia. Very different from other known mosques, it has its own charm. The imam has a very pretty voice and I had the opportunity to say prayers.

I was mesmerized and amazed by the architectural building. It feels good to be there. I will definitely come back.

For a national mosque, this place is quite run down and in bad need of a total renovation/modernization ex: Lift for old and disabled people. But like most of other government funded buildings. They all suffer from the little to no maintenance practice. Same could be said about the Federal Territory mosque in Jalan Duta.

For tourists. It's better to save your time and sweat to enjoy the nearby Masjid Jamek. Newly renovated and much nicer architecture.

It has very big parking lot which made it easy to Pray at jummah.

No need to park the car on public road.

Inside the mosque there are adequate space for thousands of Muslim.

Only this place I found to go with my wife as even in jummah / Friday the women can pray.

Plenty of space. From Inside and out this mosque has spectacular decoration.

This place managed well. Tourist with open-clothes can cover it and they'll give you a cover in the entrance door. You can walk around freely. But only limited access who want to go inside the mosque which is the main area to do shalat. Only muslim who want shalat can go inside. But overall is good. Better to provide a guide in a group to know further about the history of this museum. But because this is free ticket, maybe thats the reason the management is not that complete. But thumbs up for cleanness in old mosque

Beautiful mosque. It's open for non-Muslim visitors for an hour a few times each day. If you're not dressed appropriately, there is a desk where they will give you a robe to cover up. Everyone is super friendly. I'd consider it a must do if you're visiting.

Largest mosque in malaysia. It looks like its still in construction but most of the interior part are already finished. The design are beautiful, and its open for anyone. They even has a spot for tourist. The prayer room are really big, the atmosphere and the air are nice. Its 10 minutes walk from Pasar Seni station. A must visit place in KL.

A tourist destination, worshipping place, and tomb of the patriots all in one. Probably going to house the homeless too. Don't let your guard down and beware of snatch thieves.

Masjid Negara (National Mosque) Malaysia.
