National Aquatic Center reviews
35 Warm-up pool is open for public, check the timetable and any sudden closures at Dswim's website. RM8 per entry for 1 hour session, price has raised significantly over the past years, but no significant improvement of services is noticed. Worst of all, you can only pay the RM8 entry fee with cash only, even though they have a credit card terminal! What a lousy experience, provide QR pay option at least - it's year 2023 now!
Nearest parking available is at Axiata Arena, facing Subway. If you come at night, those scammer parking attendants are usually not there so free parking
Kurang ajar security indian lady, boleh cakap elok2 kot pasal toilet jangan shout macam orang takda adab, management should warning her, who are u to shout loudly like that, RUDE!
I went to the Aquatic Center yesterday night and the indian lady security is extremely rude and scolded me that using the Aquatic toilet. At least tell nicely and not scolding people & saying I pekak. Please la, thought everyone knows the toilet cannot open for public then lock it! At 1st wanna ask for the swimming course for adults and Jio my friends to join, due to this rude security lady, I give a pass! Won't not STEP IN TO THIS BUILDING ANYMORE! Rather to find another places to learn swimming!
Kid is enrolled in a swimming class here, which means im here almost every week. The management has kindly provided tables and chairs for the waiting parents at the 1st floor, just next to the cafe.
With the unrelenting hot weather these days, it's practically sauna wherever you sits, therefore it would be most thoughtful if cooling fans can be provided at these waiting spaces.
I don't know why the previous comments say the Olympics size pool is open for the public. I went there last week to try it out and the only pool available for public is the 1m pool (actually only half of it is 1 meter and the other half is basically a kiddie pool). Hard to train without your feet hitting the shallow depth. I am assuming the Olympic pool is only open for those training under their classes.
Also, the pool water looked greenish, as if it weren't cleaned for a long time. It had some nasty taste too. The one hour limit is ok because you wouldn't want to train in that nasty water anyway. Didn't get to try the lockers though, the person at the counter said they don't offer lockers but when you go to the pool area, there's one. Dunno if the person didn't know how to use it or didn't want to bother to explain how to use it.
I'm giving it an extra star because the changing rooms are nice.
Some parts of the viewing gallery and pool not protected from rain. Seats are wet. I am sure this is not new because the arena was opened in 1998, yet this was not rectified.
Pool is clean and the whole place is organize perfectly. But the public entrance charges is more and more expensive now, the time allocation for each session already reduced to 1 hour. I've been swimming at here for more than 10years, can't deny these changes are really disappointing.
Poor toilet. Surau is the worst - musty odors. Rajamangala National Stadium provides much better temporary surau/musolla (complete with qiblah).
The toilet is really bad.smell so bad.many those little toilet insect inside the toilet, and the toilet don't have wide place to put bags when bath. Swimming pool is good, the highest side is 180+cm, but the time for one session is too short, just one hour only, no need to book btw, just walk in.
Finally the pool is open.but a bit disappointed cuz we can’t use the shower facility. Fee paying still the same.
It not worth for weekend, only 3 lane open for public and you can't avoid hitting with strangers
Try to avoid this place if possible, most weekend, there will be some events and traffic will be very very bad.
The price is quite affordable for public.
Really nice swimming pool but the cleanliness of the shower/toilet/changing room need to be improved. Only one bench for male changing room? Uhh!
Good public swimming facility. Bad toilet condition. Don't go on a rainy day as no shelter available
The pool is fine to swim on weekday, weekend mostly crowded. There were 3 lanes only open for public to swim in weekend. Furthermore, the changing room for lady is spacious but the worst of it often no power supply (room completely dark) and unsafe for ladies who swim in morning section. Hope the management will take action to resolve this issue soon.
The pool is kept clean and the facilities like toilet is also clean. Active surveillance by lifeguard. Pls note a few things tho. Only the swimming training pool is available for public use. Not all 3 pools. And this depth is 1 meter to 1.8m. Parking is rm 2 on weekday but you have to walk quite far from public parking.
I enjoyed my 1 hr here because it is shaded and of reasonable depth (1.8m) but i dont know how often ill come here again as the public parking is just too far in the hott sun

Pool is well maintained. Would really appreciate it if there are wall fans installed at the parents waiting area.
Very well maintained, clean pool. The water is warm in the evenings.
The toilets and changing areas could use better maintenance. There really are tiny, biting flies. The layout of the toilet and changing area suggests it could use better ventilation, dehumidification and more frequent cleaning, especially during Covid-19 times.
A session for an adult is RM 6, locker rental is RM 2, and parking at the Axiata compound nearby just another RM 2.
Best public pool by far. Clean changing room, wide swim lanes, vigilant Lifeguards. A prayer room would add another star to this rating!
