I have been here so few times with different group of friends. They all said the food is amazing. The environment is chill and relax, perfect for date night or just wanna grab a glass of wine.

"I had a disappointing experience at Service. Despite being the only customer, the service was slow and I had to go to the counter to ask for service more than once. The food was average, and but coffee was perfect (served with Lavazza beans). The cream brûlé was particularly disappointing as it resembled more of an omelette with sugar on top. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience.

Been going to J&R places for the last 13 years, consistently great. It's also the only place I have found in KL that serve black pudding, which they make themselves.

My wife, 18 month old daughter and I had dinner here this evening. Everything about it was great from start to finish. Our waiter Connor asked straight away if we wanted a baby chair, baby cutlery and plate and when it came to ordering the food he made sure to ask what kind of sausages we wanted (we had the sausage and mash which I can recommend). Throughout our time there he came to ask if the food was ok, if there was anything our daughter needed and gave a level of attentive and polite service that I have seldom found in restaurants here.

You're not paying for gourmet food here but I would come back time and again to receive this level of service. If you're looking for a family friendly venue in KL, give this place a try!

Comfortable setting and attentive service. The food we had were generally delicious, with the exception of the Ikan bilis sausage (too spicy and the anchovies were quite hard). Prices are above average but happy hour prices are quite decent, RM24 for a pint of tiger. Only tiger, Guinness and strongbow available on tap. Parking is generally ok as long as you are fine with walking a little.

Celebrated a birthday here. Nice comfortable gastrobar. Typical British pub decor. Friendly & attentive service. Prices are okay for what you get. Parking is reasonable depending on time of day. Nice quieter side of Bangsar.

We tried 2 types of pork chops, fish & chips & fish pie. The chops were huge & well cooked. Accompanying sides were yummy too. Fish & chips just like in UK. Thick cuts & light batter. Went well with their tartar sauce. Fish pie was interesting. Warm & comforting. We washed it all down with cold beers & stout.

Overall a great meal. Will surely return.

Nice food with relaxing ambience
A simple fries surprised me.that already hint me am having a good treat when I bit one (the fries). Definitely will visit again and dropby Suanson next door for carrot cake. Price has increased to RM 100 per 1kg. The carrot cake not as good as it used to be somehow.but still good.

Price, portion size, and overall quality of ingredients are fair and good. The pumpkin soup is thick, tasty, and soothing. Price is RM59 for the Sunday roast which is a great deal. Also, the food came out quick.

But the gravy and roast was bland. I had to use a lot of salt and pepper. A LOT.

The ribs were good, but not my style. I like the mean easily comes off the bones. I also like them more moist inside and outside.

The pork chop is juicy and not over cooked. However, it is not wrapped in bacon as stated on the menu. There are only 2 slices served on the top. Also, the menu states that is served with apple compote, which is like a jam to me, but there were only 2 slices of apple on the top. Granted that I liked it, if really wrapped with baked and apple compote, it would be a winner. I used to something similar pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and pears.

The Mack and cheese with bacon is very good and cream, but it is not baked. It tastes more like a nice creamy Alfredo sauce.

I used to love the long English breakfast here. But now a noon opening makes it a shame that this can no longer be an experience.

Super delicious meats. One of the best steaks served in KL. Well cooked and good price point compared to other steak houses. Pork was good too as pictured. Yumzzz

This bangkung branch is great for a hideaway on a work week.lol. For this month of October they are having a pork chop special menu. I tried the one with the dayak spice rub and it's over 450gms. A juicy and chonky feast that it's a sin to be shared!

My go to place for an English Sunday roast in KL! The roast pork and beef are both great and there's always parking outside on the street.

The food is excellent but they were quite understaffed so it took a bit of time to receive our food and drinks too.

The must try dish is any one of their signature meat dishes. One of them is shown in the photo.
Lunch was not crowded and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. Don't know if the serenity will change with dinner and happy hour.
