Din Tai Fung reviews
48The manager Chia Pei where I went to dine on Wednesday was very considerate and hospitable to us. We had always gone there on Saturday or Sunday before. That day we went to dine on a Wednesday, which was a weekday. She also knew the tea and meals we wanted to order. It was great.
Non halal chinese Restaurant inside Mid Valley, located at The Garden, near Jaya Grocer
Always a comfort restaurant to have a meal and chilled
Noodle textures are perfect!
The usual din tai fung standards but portions are getting smaller and smaller.
Interior deco is simple and comfy thought and service is quite efficient.
Expect easily around RM50 per pax including beverages.
Delicious as usual! The prawn dumplings always my favorite ;) and the hot & sour soup superb!
Taste not bad! Overall is decent, recommend this restaurant to both foreigner and local who wanted to try decent Chinese food
I love the food. Besides the obvious I recommend the noodles with peanutsauce and the hot and sour soup! So yummy. Usually the service is quick and friendly.
The food is delicious, especially the Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp Wonton, and Pork Chop Fried Rice, which are super fresh and delicious.
They always provide stable taste at anywhere though xiaolongbao (小籠包) wasn’t good as other store… kind dad because this is one of signature menu from them.
Dim Sum taste the same after so long i didnt taste it. Though the shop is relatively empty, took long time to be served!
Hmmmm.the taste not that good anymore. Maybe too many customers? Will NOT go there anymore since a lot of choices there.
Food:
My all time fav, salted egg bao (lao sa bao). Size just right for 1 pax.
Dessert: red bean tong yuan super delicious. Quality like Park royal hotel KL.
Price: very costly but worth for trying. What you paid what you get.
1st time visit - Overall still satisfied. Noticed that their varieties are almost the same, just additional ingredients (with additional price of coz), so order the original one will be the best. The Xiao Long Bao is a must to try, but for me the original one is the most delicious, others are just so so. Price are all RM20 at least and above.
Long queue all the time, but with the numbering system they are relatively efficient. You can pre-order while waiting to save time.
I've always liked their wantan noodles, dumplings in spicy sauce, Xiao long bao and fried rice
One of the best dinner i had in KL in so many visits. The food was great & service was fast. The selection seems to have expanded, good job!
The prawn fried rice was the best. We also had xiao long bao. Prawn and pork siu mai was okay.
Service was pretty decent. We came at 2pm on a very busy and we were seated in 10 mins
Great Taiwanese restaurant. Good service and friendly staff. Highly recommend their Xiao Long Bao with pour vinegar and soy sauce with ginger. I like to eat their Oriental Salad, very delicious. Restaurant place very clean and comfortable. Price reasonable. Overall is great restaurant.
Went few times. Service just normal and depending mood of the servants. Like the fried rice. The xiao long bao is good but there is better in other place
Standard Din Tai Fung, Taiwanese restaurant in The Gardens. The siew long pao is a must try and they even had a glass window showing the staffs wrapping the dishes. The fried rice and noodles were delicious too. A little expensive and the portion is rather small. Nice service but a little slow during peak hours.
The huge mall with every brand and restaurants available around. Aggressive shopping options available around for anything.you just name it you will get it. Lively place with all activities most of the time. You will just love it, no doubt. Just enter in the morning and youbdont know hiw is your day passed.
