Joined Larian Wira LTAT 2023 today, nearest LRT is Masjid Jamek LRT station. Located nearby the mosque to perform Suboh prayer before the run starts at 6.30am.

Pada saat kami datang, sekitar jam 15: 00 di dataran merdeka, udara sangat terik dan panas. Jadi sebaiknya jika mengunjungi dataran merdeka lebih baik pada malam hari, lampu gedung juga sudah menyala. Sangat minimnya pepohonan untuk tempat berteduh di dataran merdeka, rombongan kami malah lebih banyak berfoto di dekat sungai yang terletak di dekat gedung monumen

Historic place for Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia where on the night going into 31 Aug. 1957 the British Union Jack flag was peacefully lowered and the new nation's flag was raised.

Historical Place - Yearly Independent Day parade usually held here very 31 August. Make sure you come as early as 7.30am to watch the parade on that day. Please expect the crowd.

You should visit this place twice in day time and night time. At night you will be impressed with the lights installed, and day time you can spot all the beauty of the place and have the chance to get inside and check the old history.

Tourist can come night, don't come afternoon your skin will burn, very hot and buzy, many car here afternoon not good for your healty

Gak lengkap kalau ke Kuala Lumpur nggak mampir ke dataran merdeka, walau hanya sekedar selfie-selfie doang, banyak spot yang cukup instagramable.ada tiang bendera tertinggi se Asia Tenggara, ada bangunan-bangunan tua dengan arsitektur yang cukup bagus, ada banner I Love KL, ada KL City Gallery juga.untuk bisa ke sini kalo menginap di daerah bukit bintang bisa naik bus GOKL yang gretongan.naik yang blue line di bukit bintang disambung pake yang red line.kalo mau cepet ya bisa pake taksi online.

You can enjoy the view from outside but you can't go inside there is 100 m tall flag of Malaysia which is historic sites here first time they raised the flag of Malaysia after independence from British in 31 August 1957.it looks amazing from outside

You can buy and enjoy your food at the big field and chill which is very nice

Superb place to learn about the city of Kuala Lumpur. Nice buildings all around. A lot of British influenced history nearby.

Jalan-jalan malam disini waktu menjelang tahun baru 2019. Sungguh luar biasa ada acara sholawatan bersama setiap menjelang tahun baru. Subhanallah.

Do not miss the 5 min show at KL City Gallery.
It costs 5Rm but walks us through the history of KL and how it was formed.

Probably would recommend travelers to start the city tour with as the starting point.

One thing during day time it's very hot.

Evenings are enjoyable at the square.

One of the sightseeing place in KL. This place is also part The Colonial Walk, alongside the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This area is also close from Masjid James LRT station, approx. 5 mins walk

Beautiful place to visit but it's recommended to travel by public transportation. Limited parking space.

Wide space, historically major site, with beautiful and informative buildings nearby (KL gallery, textile museum, Sultan Abdusamad building). Metro (MRT) is nearby for cheap commuting.
