Bukit Kiara Federal Park reviews
55Had a wonderful experience at this park with its nice scenery. Just a bit difficult to find parking if you arrive late in the morning.
Well maintained public park in KL.
Lots of exercise options including walking/jogging tracks, par course apparatus, zumba, Tai Chi and other organised activities.
Crowded on weekend mornings.
A dozen or so stalls located at the parking area selling good food and drink.
The Taman Tun Dr. Ismail Fish Park is good for exercising, walking, jogging, running, and even listening to music with their ear pods on.
They even do a lot of those outdoor activities and hobbies too; such as: Zumba dance, sword dance, Tai Chi, picnic, fish catching, and also fish feeding, turtle feeding, and pigeon feeding; but there are quite a lot of monkeys around the trees trying to steal food from other people as well when they use the bread to feed the fish and turtles.
In that way some people can walk while playing Pokemon Go like there are a few pokestops, 1 gym at the Taman Tun Dr. Ismail fish park entrance, and many Pokemon to catch while walking.
They also can come out to buy the food and drinks at a truck stall and market shop such as: Milo, Soya Bean Milks, good homemade breads, fruit juices, vegetables, dessert especially cakes and muffins, and even seafood as usual as it is.
It's a good place to jog around 3 tracks in a longer way.
Taman okay, cuma kadang banyak monyet. Parking available di dalam atau di kawasan sekitar. So far memang kerap pergi. Tenang and aman untuk activiti kasual.
This huge garden is situated very close to Taman Rimba Kiara, but it attracts more visitors and joggers than the latter. The big lake in the centre is indeed very breathtaking to watch. Many families bring their kids there to catch small fishes in the streams, as well as, to play in the playground. The facility is well maintained and even the toilets are clean. There are monkeys at the main entrance, just don't provoke them and it should be no problemOverall, it is a marvellous place to spend time with family.
Friendly fellow joggers and brisk walkers. Good for community networking. Well maintained track. However, he monkeys are very mischievous and quite dangerous to visitors esp kids
Nice park for jogging hiking mtb cycling.thw landscape department has finally put signboarda of maps and names of trail for the patrons. More importantly, mountain bike bike trail are recognised named properly. The cycling community is gratefull.
I have been here twice and it was nice and calm. The park is clean and there are so many animals there, you can even feed pigeons there, and monkeys, or even you can see a huge lizard on the lake, and turtles as well. Just need to be careful with your stuff because the monkeys could steal it or even rip it.
Alright so this is actually the entrance to the public park with a running circuit and also a side entrance to the hiking path which connects Mt Kiara and TTDI. If you want to go hiking, just walk straight up to this shed and enter from the left or right pathway. Both of them lead to the same place- the "Bukit kiara hill walk" >> Save this from maps. Once you reach here, from the entry point keep walking on the right. Basically whereever the path forks, pick the right side. This will keep it easier for you to find you way back and also keep you in the woods parallel to the road, so you won't feel that lost xD Also there are multiple peaks/view points so you won't feel like the climb was for nothing either.
If you come at normal hike timings, you can always ask anyone around for directions (unlike me who decided to go at 3pm when noone was around), people are really friendly and will help you out: D
Nice place for a few hours of decent hiking. So many trails, but nothing clearly marked, so you can only proceed with a phone/GPS & suitable APP. Two relative disadvantages - 1, even at the tops of the hills, there are no views. 2, you're never far away from civilization, so I constantly heard park maintenance guys operating noisy leaf blowers.
Amazing outdoor around the corner of TTDI & Damansara.
Great for outdoor enthusiasts.
Can be a bit crowded towards the evening.
Our go-to place to go trail running in KL. If you just want to walk around it's also really nice. Just go early in the morning since afterwards it becomes hotter and there are more biker
Limited parking space on weekend morning. Come early for parking and fresh air. Beautiful place to walk and run.
Walk is too much people are road is too small other is OK. I like go other side is walk ️ but road is big enough.
Some part of the park are under construction but it doesn't bother on having a good walk there.
Lovely park and fresh air. I pray that they don't chop down any of it to make way for more buildings. It's sad as it's the last few bits of green lung pockets we have in Klang valley with really lively old trees and where animals can stay. There are too many buildings with low occupancies and so little greens lungs. Any apartment or office block is not needed.
A great place for individuals, couples and families to walk around with various altitudes, breathe fresh air and just have pure plain fun!
The children will love to hang out while health enthusiasts will enjoy it's serenity coz as it's one of the few green lungs in KL.
Perfect for a walk or run with nature in the jungle. For those taking a hike, beware of those riding mountain bikes. These idiots love riding fast and always think that the trail belongs to them. Very selfish and ignorant riders.
What a beautiful park. I have lived at Damansara Jaya since 1976 and today is the first time I am enjoying this park by walking slowly. What a terrific atmosphere and the greenery is so enticing. If you're like me and a couch potato then get your lazy legs to come for that slow walk around the beautiful lake.
As for me I am sweating for I went inside this forest and it's so invigorating.
