Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Gallery reviews
69Tempat terbaik nak belajar pasal sejarah ekonomi dan kewangan tanah air. Percuma saja masuk, sangat sesuai untuk kanak2 dan dewasa dengan elemen2 persembahan maya yang mantap.
There is a money wall, which is full of banknotes, including old banknotes, and the current 100 yuan, 50 yuan, 20 yuan, 10 yuan, 5 yuan, and 1 ringgit. Spiral staircase. There will also be an art exhibition.
You can go shopping.
Tastefully curated with ample navigating space between exhibits. Sufficient information provided to describe each item.
Clean bathrooms too and it has a visitors' bookshop to purchase books and memorabilia.
A must visit for numismatist, level 2 has a whole series of currencies collections of past and present on this land. Good for kid education to acknowledge everything about money and finance, many interactable tools to play with and earn some knowledge.
Great history about Malaysia Money System. Worth to spend time here if interested to know more about Malaysia money system.
Good place to learn about money. Spent about 2 hours to tour the whole place. No bags allowed inside, can only bring phone and wallet.
Downside is that, the lift to museum abit hard to find without clear directions.
It was interesting but I expected more, it lacked spark or better curation. The financial museum part is interesting but fails in execution.
A National Bank Museum and Art Gallery suitable for the whole family to experience.
There are several floors inside.
As soon as you enter the first floor, there is an entrance similar to a time tunnel. The walls are covered with banknotes, including Malaysian banknotes from the first generation to the latest.
Children can also print their own banknotes as souvenirs.
There are also museums, technology and Malaysian art galleries on the upper floors.
Quite a lot of good experiences.
Admission is still free.

Masuk percuma, parking senang. Kids friendly. Menyeronokkan. Sangat2 interaktif. Dah 2 kali pergi tu pun anak2 ajak repeat lagi
There are many things for children to experience while playing. It seems small, but there are things to enjoy.
They didnt inform earlier that it was close: (
The notice wasnt up when I searched for the place. Dah sampai baru ada notice said that it is closed for the time being.
There isn’t any sort of geometric spot featured yet so we figured the Sasana Kijang staircase would represent it the best with is endless spotless white spiral staircase build to look amazing in any angle, through any type of shots from any sort of camera. Known as Nautilus Staircase that begins from the lobby and links every floor, the spiral symbolically reflects the desire for knowledge that never stops. The fluid movement in the design speaks volumes for inquisitive and inquiring minds. In short, the ‘spiral’ generates ‘curiosity’. As a center of knowledge and learning excellence established by Bank Negara Malaysia, once you are done with your photo shoot (take all the time you need, you can enjoy some art on the top floor).
BNM Museum is designed to be an informal educational avenue for anyone who seeks a greater understanding of the Malaysian economy and its economic history. This place is full of interesting facts and, at this museum, you can learn all about money through interactive games and computerised activities.
Very interesting and interactive museum, good for children and adult to learn more about Ringgit Malaysia and the bank. The art gallery also displays a large collection of art pieces.
Average place to learn about currency. Some inconsistency of information on the electronic part and pretty outdated about population about IT development and so forth growth and development around the world. Also some areas is blast with aircond and some areas is literally is so hot and humid, the central cooking in the building is not energy efficient. Gps location and entrance also very misleading when getting there.
Interesting gallery managed by the central bank of Malaysia. Lots of information on the history of economics in Malaysia though there are non-finance related exhibits.
Free admission is a major plus. Location is a bit off the usual tourist attraction so is quite peaceful.
Best museum in KL, especially for fellows of Malaysian to know more about our history in banking, economy, currency.
Beside, the top floor exhibit the art works collected by bank negara with superb interior design and very cosy atmosphere.
Ground floor there is a very educational exhibit area design for children to know more about spending, bank and currency.
Sasana kijang cafe serve good coffee and pastry at reasonable price.
Not only for foreigner it is a must go mesuem for all Malaysian.
It’s free entrance. Kids love to make money there. Kids can love about the saving money process and see the antique saving box. Got some quizzes and videos over there. Is a great experience for kids and adults as well.
Reasonable museum which has a focus on the central bank of Malaysia along with some modern art. It may not interest everyone but it's free. No bags allowed inside
Nice museum showcasing coins and paper money, the history of the central bank and a showcase of local art that the bank has been collecting. Free entry.
