Tyres Pro Marketing Sdn. Bhd. reviews
52 This owner Wallace is a farking liar. Selling expired & defective tires to buyers at ridicules retail price. Even the staffs are trained to con buyers into illegitimate "technical works".
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!
Friendly owner, helpful, willing to go the extra miles to help a customer.
Fast and friendly staff also.
Tires prices are reasonable.
Job well done.
Keep it up.
All the best to JL Lin & team.
Came here for balancing and alignment service. They are doing promotion using fave app, and its only rm35, promo until early November
I read all the good reviews regarding this shop and decided to bring over my punctured tyre to get it repaired. It was considerably a small hole, and the mechanic wanted to put in the normal rubber strip. Since it's a fairly new tyre and I always travel long distance, I told him to patch it from the inside, which is a more preferrable repair method, a bit expensive, but will last longer. The mechanic somehow started by putting in the rubber strip into the hole, cut the strip portion on the inside, grinded the area to be patched, blew off the dust using air gun, applied a very little glue around the area, and patched it straight away. He then proceeded with tyre balancing and checked, for leak which happened to be okay at that time. I didn't really like how the mechanic did the job due to few reasons: -
1. He found one hole on the tyre and that's it, he didn't check the other part of the tyre for condition.
2. He didn't grind the patched area properly, didn't mark the area to be grinded, solely basing his judgment on his experience and not the patch's size.
3. He used air gun to clean the grinded area which for me is very bad because he actually introduces moisture and oil on the area and this could cause the patch to unbale to stick properly on the area.
3. The glue he applied on the grinded area was too little, not evenly and the glue itself may be already expired. The glue viscosity was very thick. I could see him used his finger to pinch the glue from the small bottle can and it didn't stick. He also applied the patch right after he applied the glue. Should actually wait for the glue to dry for few minutes before applying the patch.
4. Without even removing the clear plastic protector on the patch, the mechanic staright away put back the tyre on the rim.
To me the workmanship is very poor and I didn't say anything because I was already in a rush. Paid RM25 for the job and left the shop.
And later at night, guess what? The tyre became flat again. When to the shop again the next morning, showed the tyre to a lady, whom I believe is the boss. The same mechanic came and told me to enlarge the hole and put in more rubber strip to stop the leak.
Surely it's a NO for me. Didn't even ask the boss to re-do the repair job because of the poor workmanship shown the day before. Staright away asked for full refund and managed to get it.
To me, that RM25 taken is a trust given by the client to the shop, to properly ensure the safety and serviceability of the tyre. It's a huge responsibility given by the customer to the shop. And although it's a business, the shop should be honest in it's capacity in providing the service. When it's not cabaple of performing such repair, just say no. The value of life is more than the value of that RM25.
This shop may not be a good place to repair your punctured tyre, but it may be a good place for other services, just like the reviews given by others.
The boss is really helpful just like everyone says. Even though I just went for a rm 5 tyre stitches, he is still willing to give valuable advices. Really thank him and his team for the help.
Offers a wide range of tyres. Not to mention friendly and awesome service by their young crew. Double thumbs up!
Big boss is approachable and gives free advices on tyres. And even shares his personal experiences which is rather rare for a chinaman. Only complain allignment a bit out but got really good bargains on my wheels. Highly recommended!
Voucher redemption was smooth, had car allignment and balancing here and service was good, and staffs were professional
Great service, detail workmanship. Service staff makes sure that everything is in place before handling over the car. Good customer service as well.
Awesome service provided by staff and boss. I brought 4 tyres there and after that do rotation service and inspection there without problem and is cheaper than other place.
Friendly attentive staff. Reasonable price and fast service. Many nearby restaurants and cafes to go to while work is done.
