Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia / Honda BigWing Damansara (Fast Bikes)

Booked my XADV750 2 months ago and estimated to delivery in 6 months. Suddenly give a call today to ask for deposit, and i thought that the bike is ready for delivery. Unfortunately the reason given was the management change their policy and required "non refundable deposit" as to show our commitment of buying this bike. Of course I refused to give deposit as they cant commit on delivery date. Just wonder if someone else would willing to give non refundable deposit for booking a bike that you would never know when they can deliver to you?

The sales consultant Mr. Zahed is so friendly and knowledgeable. He explained to me from a to z about the bike. Feel welcomed and feel confident to buy the bike. Please look for him if you are planning to buy a bike.

Every time we go the service is great. Plenty of expert knowledge and they seem more interested in you than just selling a bike. They carry a good range of stock and accessories but I think (well know) that many of the bikes need to be ordered, stock rotates very quickly. Like the Harley it’s easy to order specific accessories and they are high quality.

Fastbikes has way too much unsold old inventory! Still many 2016 and 2017 unsold bikes not to mention 2018 going into 2019.

Lends to widespread concern if these guys and Triumph Malaysia will have continued presence in Malaysia. I am concerned enough to shift my attention to BMW and Ducati with their stronger market and dealership presence.

My experience with Fast Bikes (KL) has been disappointing & unpleasant.

I got my Explorer 1200 XC in Kuching (from Premium Bikes.good/professional service), but have since moved to KK.

I was informed that the Fast Bikes technical team would be coming to KK during the 1st week of Oct '16 to service the Triumph bikes in Sabah.

Which I was excited about - considering my bike was due for maintenence.

Still no sign of them.

When I called Fast Bikes KL, I spoke to someone named Fazli and asked him 2 things: -

1. When was the team coming to KK?

2. If they are going to be delayed, can they refer me to an affiliate who can carry out the service (as the bike is under warranty) ?

He said that he would check and call me back.have not heard from him (already been 3 days!)

Such a shame because I thoroughly love my XC but dealing with such unprofessional/unreliable dealers in an unpleasurable spoils the experience of owning a Triumph in Sabah.

If anyone asks me, I will discourage them from getting a Triumph in Sabah due to the above issues.

To compound matters, my friends and I have taken leave to ride to Sarawak on the 16th.how am I going to go if my bike is not serviced?
