Good food, very interesting menu, and enticing to try. Very innovative chef and given to understand the menu changes to give a wide varieties of food offered. A good try is the buckwheat fried chicken, very enjoyable.

We had the buckwheat fried chicken, pasta al ragu, pork ribs and baileys chocolate pie. Everything were so delicious and cooked to perfection. We are not usually not a dessert person but the baileys chocolate pie is just another level. We will be back for more.

If there is one word to describe Table & Apron, it’s consistency. They’ve stood through the test of time and remained consistent in both their delicious food and impeccable service.

I used to patronize this restaurant since their early days when they had charred eggplant and coconut loaf cake on menu; but haven’t been visiting in recent times for at least 2 years. We finally had a chance to dine in here again yesterday, and true to their values they upheld their standards of serving delicious food alongside with attentive, friendly service. Definitely a restaurant I highly recommend!

1. Sourdough bread with spiced tomato butter - comes with 2 types of sourdough of the day, a bit over toasted, butter has a unique curry kick that comes with it, spread thinly
2.pineapple asam drink - too sour for me
3. Buttermilk fried chicken - really crispy skin, meat is tender and juicy, seasoned well
4. Mushroom risotto - strong mushroom taste, risotto is cooked well and creamy, pretty standard
5. Service - really friendly staff
6. Serving time - 25 mins
7. Affordability - reasonable
8. Atmosphere - clean and air-conditioned

Today is my first time at Table and Apron. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and polite. I found a fly "drunk" in my wine and the staff quickly replace with a new glass of wine and apologize on the matter. Surprisingly the staff also delivered a complementary cinnamon roll when we are leaving. This is a courtesy action to show how they valued their customer. I definitely will come again.

The food was brilliant and quick to be served! Not here to talk about the food but their service, it was the best. Cindy and Qamar were very attentive to our table's needs and made us feel well taken care of. They were lovely and patient at giving us some recommendations, which were proven to be right. To top off the special night, we were given a free loaf of sourdough bread to take away!

Service was incredible! The staff were helpful with setting up our birthday cake & checked in if everything was alright at our table. Food was extremely delicious! Do try their buckwheat fried chicken & their mushroom pasta, so tasty! We ordered quite a lot to share family style, including their vegetable meals; I recommend their Okra, Paku & Eggplant dishes! Sorry I don't have many photos, was too indulged in the meals Will definitely dine here again, hopefully with more pictures next time lol

I would like to thank the Table & Apron team for a thoroughly excellent Saturday lunch. My family took my in-laws there to expose them to what exemplary fusion cuisine could be, and we weren't disappointed. Every dish was perfection. We were arguing for hours about which was our favourite, and it was agonising trying to decide! Highlights were the buckwheat fried chicken, whole roast fish with harissa, and the wonderful conchiglie with miso and mushrooms.

What was exceptional though was the service. We were so well taken care of by Kelvin and Tidah (I'm so sorry! I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling) and they made us feel like regulars. Well, this is likely my new favourite restaurant in KL - so if we're in town, count us in.

Incredible meal - absolute compliments to the chefs and the chef that designed the menu the food is outstanding and the dishes come toghether so beautifully. The service is also fantastic. I wish I could rate it higher than a 5 it was that good, highly recommend! The fried chicken is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world!

What happened?

Table and Apron must have been one of my top five favourite restaurants and one which I promote heavily to associates, friends and family.

However, my fried chicken meal today was such a departure from normal that I wondered if it is from the same establishment.

It was greasy and slightly underwhelming in flavour. However, the biggest disappointment was the gamey smell and off-putting colour that comes with frozen chicken.

Can you bring your chicken back, not whatever being served today?

I’m loving it.

It served tasty foods especially the fried chicken! It is super crispy and yummy.

Not forgetting to try the chocolate cake with paprika. It tastes like spicy chocolate cake.

The sourdough is nice signature and it is a must eat list.

Highly recommend their buckwheat chicken. I love how crispy the chicken is. Would like to have more taste on the chicken but overall it was great!

The sauce of the spaghetti with duck confit & zucchini was delicious.

The middle part of the porkchop was slightly dry. I love the watercress though especially the dressing.

Tiramisu cake was tasty!

Our waiter communication was a bit difficult, but guess it could be just us. Food was generally ok, but for the wait and price think there can be other options.

Pasta - 7/10
Fried Chicken - 7/10 (ntg to write home abt)
Starters - 6/10 (Clams).

We were impressed with our first visit and went back for a second. The food is very good. Great quality, interesting variety and sensible prices. You must book ahead.

Buckwheat Fried Chicken
We were really excited and impressed when the Fried chicken arrived as it was sooooooo crispy However, we feel that it was abit overatted despite the crunchiness of the chicken skin? [maybe we set our expectation too high] The meat inside could have marinated slightly longer to make it more flavourful.

Tagliatelle Al Ragu
Pasta was nicely cooked paired with lamb. The amount of meat with pasta were also just nice! Everything inside is good and enjoyable, just nothing too fancy:)

Pork Rib in Pineapple Glaze
The meat was tender and nicely cooked. Just a bit on the sweeter side (would be better if its less sweet) that might makes you feel jelak after eating but their own made sauce provided will make you feel less jelak. Definitely good for sharing!

Personal thought: Their service and food was not bad, just feel abit overrated with the general review we read. Overall was still a decent dining experience for us and will still be back for other menu

“Go for the fried chicken and pork ribs! ” That’s the most common response I get whenever I ask about Table & Apron. So there we went!

Our reservation was at 8pm and gosh, parking was terrible around that hour We lost count of the number of rounds we turned and finally found a spot at the Taman behind so ya, you need luck for parking here lol! We were told 7-8pm is one of the worst timings

Anyway! Despite being a busy Saturday night, the staff were friendly, we were approached promptly and were seated upstairs.

Ordered 5 dishes for the two of us (ya we tend to over-order “sometimes”)

• Spiced tomato butter with sourdough 3.5/5
- This was not bad, butter was nice, sourdough was nice, nothing too spectacular.

• Charred okra with tamarind and chilli dressing 4/5
- We liked the dressing for the okra

• Roasted cauliflower with ricotta 4/5
- Quite interesting, I like that it doesn’t feel heavy despite having cheese in the dish

• Buckwheat fried chicken 4/5
- Their signature. It was good, did not disappoint us. Beautifully battered and crispy skin with juicy meat. It retained its natural flavour, simple, not complex as we are supposed to eat it with lingham chilli sauce.

• Pork ribs in pineapple glaze 4/5
- Good. Pork ribs was tender and flavourful. Comes with the same dressing as the okra dish.

Overall, I would say this is a place for good comfort food. Nothing too fancy but it’s somewhere that you don’t mind coming back. The space was comfortable (upstairs) and staff were friendly.

Delicious meal, and will definitely consider going whenever I need some good-food fix.
We enjoyed the aromatic sourdough, refreshing okra, crunchy chicken, and creamy well-seasoned ragu pasta.
The staff gave me a chair with a back support at the bar table when she saw me being pregnant, the extra touch was nice:)

Nice cafe along the stretch in Damansara kim. While it is famous for fried chicken, we were disappointed, nothing to rave about. Yet there were other good food we tried such as the pork ribs and pasta and salad.

Went with my family to celebrate my mum's birthday and we had a great time.
The service was excellent. They had very well trained staff who were friendly, polite and knew exactly what to do. We bought our own cake and they helped us to store it and also serve it. They even sang a bithday song. My mum was very happy.
The food was great, the portions are ok but the taste and the care taken to prepare each dish can be felt through each bite.
The ambience was perfect.

Delicious sweet potato fries with ricotta cheese as well as nasi ulam and the fried buckwheat chicken is just so crispy and well cooked that it’s tender inside
