Setia Alam Night Market / Tapow Kitchen Foodtruck reviews
34 This Pasar Malam Setia Alam is the longest pasar malam in the country.
Many food stalls, from hndphone accessory, fresh fruits, fried chicken, nasi lemak, fresh vegetables, durian, kuih apong and etc.
The price is value for money.
The stalls are congested hence the fume from their generators can be very stuffy at times.
Longest Pasar Malam so far (2019), multi races stalls aka Muhibbah Pasar Malam, selling many foods & drinks, remember to visit with empty stomach.
Overrated.
Exciting if you have never been here before.
But once you have by the millionth times, bah.things just keep repeating
Food galore with mix of wet market. Chinese and malay section is somewhat separated for convenience and sensitivity. More importantly, I can find my stinky tofu fix here.
One of the longest Pasar Malam (or night market) in Malaysia. You can find many delicious food where some stalls are selling the same type. Besides that you also can find all kind of raw food here such as seafood, vegetables and fruits. Mostly are Chinese but you also can find some Malay stalls. Price is not too cheap considering the venue but still acceptable.
Excellent night market. Mostly locals, big variety of tasty food and drink, nice fruit and vegetables, and good prices. Seems to be almost all Chinese Malay, so I didn't see some of the normal Malaysian staples like murtabak. There were a lot more interesting Asian foods, and pork!
Nobody tried to overcharge me for being a tourist, which is always appreciated! In fact, I didn't see a single other Western tourist while we were there.
A great place to go if you like night markets and unsure on what to do on a Saturday evening. You can get all kinds of food ranging from Chinese, Malay and a bit of Thailand and Korean food here and there. My favorite is the Ayam Goreng Berempah near the PapaRich restaurant, absolutely delicious! The usual gadgets and gizmos are an in abundance here; just listen out for the loud techno music. Clothing items such as shirts, pants, shoes, undergarments are also a usual sight but you can never be too sure of its authenticity.
Finding a parking spot during the peak hours of 7pm - 8pm will be difficult but parking a bit further for an extra few minutes walk would be better than cruising around looking for a spot.
If I'm not wrong, it's said to be the one of the longest pasar malam in Malaysia. But who knows, a longer one might pop up somewhere soon.
A lot of yummy food, nice clothings, fruits, handphone accessories & etc on this Malaysia Longest Pasar Malam
Its super crowded and the main dishes are not superbly tasty depending how you like your laksa, pan mee and etc. The lok lok truck is probably the best thing to have other than the lamb chops, sweet treats and oyster mee sua
Ini Saturday night market.bukanya jam 5 sore sampai malam.
Disini ada banyak yg jual makanan, minuman, sayuran, buah, souvernir, pakaian, perlengkapan handphone.
Makanan disini beraneka ragam, Malaysian food, Indian food, Chinese foosld, Korean food dan masih banyak lainnya dan harganya di jamin murah
You'll be lost for choices. Don't go in without at least RM100 in your pocket. Start from the CIMB bank (Malay zone) and make your way to Sri Melur (Chinese zone). You'll burn the calories you would pile up at the end of this adventure
Just went for the experience since it's the longest in the country. Else nothing much to shout about. Variety the same as other pasar mlm.
Fantastic pasar malam. Longest in Malaysia. Overall food stall give 4 stars. Others hv to bargain.
I love this place. I can get anything i want.just choose your choice and get it.cheap and interesting.
I like the food variety! And this is definitely a good workout place too.
Special mention to the on-the-stop made glutinous chicken (Loh Mai Gai) & the dry pan mee that has thick sauce.
Fun fact: This pasar malam is the longest pasar malam, 2.4km in Malaysia covering both Chinese and Malay vendors.
Longest in Malaysia. Although similar stalls selling similar things, it has some things for everyone
It's one of the longest pasar malam in Setia Alam and One of crowded activity on every Saturday. It's a place u can hang out and hunt for some nice local foods, snacks, drinks and many more. It's a place must visit.
Really is the longest one ive seen so far (no TWSS joke plz) a lot of variety. 4stars because a lot of things cost more than usual night market
One of the longest pasar malam in Malaysia, with great variety of food! From Malay nasi lemak, satay, kuih, fried chicken to Chinese koay teow, pan mee, laksa, fried carrot cake and more. Besides that, there are also raw ingredients such as meat, fish, and also children toys, festive biscuits, house utensils, clothing, women's accessories and many more! If you're looking for fresh vegetables, there's a row of affordable vegetables for sale. There is a malay stall selling good Ban Cheng kuih for those crave. Also try out Uncle Lim fried lala in front of 7 eleven. Nearby there's the soya bean stall, a rather long queue one too. The nasi lemak stall in front of the Setia alam club is a must try, but catch it before 6pm. It usually sold out rather early. Loving western food? Check out Mook's pizza. There's a home grown vegetables stall (as I have been told). Pan mee nearby top hill car tyre shop is a must try. But do be patient with the queue. There's also Durian fried Ice-cream for durian lovers! Not to forget, tasty chicken wings and smoky BBQ chicken. During nearby Chinese New Year, there are several stalls selling festive biscuits and they're delicious with appropriate price. Some stalls open as early as 3.30pm, mainly the fruit stalls all the way till around 12am. Crowd starts flooding in around 6pm when the weather cools down. Come early for nearby parking.
This night market is supposed to be the longest night market in Selangor. There is a large variety of street food available. It is one of the rare night markets that is very "muhibbah". The Malays occupy half of it, starting from the CIMB bank. As you walk towards the end, it will be the Chinese area. Some Indians are seen selling vegetables.
There are many stalls that provide tables and chaird for you to sit and enjoy your food. All kinds of street food can be found. There are the normal local foods, Thai, Taiwan, and even sushi are sold.
I wish there were more bins placed around to keep the cleanliness of the area. Otherwise, it's a great place to bring your tourist friends to enjoy Malaysian night market.
