These guys are life saver. Had the car washed and sanitized prior to delivery. I had wonderful drive down to JB from KLIA2 in a small but comfortable hatchback. The reps were very courteous and helpful. No pre-booking due to last minute request and peak season but the transaction was seamless. Reps were kind enough to reply text as and when needed. I dropped off the car at different location for them to collect from (KL area) and that's no issue at a fairly reasonable rate too. The refund was amazingly fast. Generally the rate was a bargain considering the holiday season we were in. Car handling is great. The reps were kind enough to remind us to get the touch-and-go card from the convenient store. Useful. Service is beyond expectation. I would rent again.

Bad experience. Rented 2 cars in the Airport during a high season holiday but do not expect the car to be full of small cockroaches! Also the other car has broken brakes we had to switch them during our trip: (please check your car really carefully before renting it, I don’t think they do regular check ups and maintenance

We hired a car for 4 days when in Malaysia over the new year. We chose Avis rather than one of the many other lower cost companies because we expected a good quality car and good service. We were disappointed in both aspects.
The car we received was a Toyota Camry with 150 thousand K on the clock (about 4 years old) and was in a "well used" condition. The engine was noisy, the windscreen grimy, and a tank that was a long way from being full (despite being told that there was a full tank of gas).
The pick up was from a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. We waited for an hour at this hotel, the Avis phone went unanswered. Eventually we were told by staff at the hotel that Avis had moved the previous day to another hotel about 15 minutes walk away (although it was not possible to walk with all our luggage). We taxied to the new location (no offer of compensation for this from Avis), and finally got hold of the Avis agent on the phone. It still took a further 10 minutes for us to track down the Avis agent, the reason being that the hotel had two completely separate wings (in different buildings) and we were in the wrong one. We received no help from the Avis agent in discovering this rather important detail. Nor was there an email from Avis to inform us that the pickup location had changed. It surely cant be that hard to email the small number of clients about a change in location.
