Section 17 Wet Market reviews
47Bad experience from rude Chee Cheong fun seller. He increased 10sen per piece from last week. Upon questioning hesitated and then being sarcastic. Beside duck seller continued repeated my question sarcastically too?
This is the cleanest wet market I ever went! Even the areas selling pork and chicken are clean too! The floor are not that wet. The stalls are placed orderly and with some space in between which allow us to move easily. There are stalls selling cooked food too. And most important thing is most of the stalls are using Tng! No worries if you forgot to bring your wallet!
Average neighbourhood market but cleanliness is 5 star. You can most of your needs here. Prices slightly above average
This is the first time I went to this market. Although it's small, supposedly it's very Clean, store nice arrange. Can get all the basic food. I like the crispy tai kou men.
Has improved a lot since the days of being on the street. Can be crowded in the morning, thinning out about 1000 onwards. The floor is mainly clean and dry. The huge HVLS fans provide good ventilation for the area
Finding a car park bay can be difficult
Quite a bit of delicacies can be found here for meals throughout the day. The surrounding kopitiam also offer good food.
Halal and Non halal areas are separated
Went the night food stalls. Same stalls like before. Seats very limited though, prepare to share table with others
A lot of varieties and stalls. Price reasonable. Parking is a problem daily. Worse during weekends.
Good place to do marketing. Not so big as SS 2 market and less crowded. Parking is a problem. Advise park some distance away and walk there. Good choice of hawkers stall for breakfast.
Fresh and affordable but not many stalls and as such not too much choices.however, the stall selling Yu Char Kueh is quite yummy
I was at Seventeen Mall not Wet Market. This Mall simply amazing though small. Ground floor Aeon Supermarket. Upper floor was Food Court with selected selection due to MCO.
They practice the usual one way in and one way out, however, the distance between the in and our is at different ends so it can be a bit of a walk. Parking in the surrounding areas is a nightie and I counted 4 MPPJ officers going round to issue summons, and this is during a public holiday. The usual wet market goods are available with a few stalls offering the same type of goods, be it vegetables or fruits, etc. Friendly sellers willing to advise the shoppers. Not too crowded but it was already close to 11.00am when I was there. A tip is to park opposite at the 17 mall and avoid the hassle with Mppj.
Clean and neat, convenient locations as almost all types of local groceries available, some at direct surrounding shop.
Crowded at the wet market but I don't mind going to Aeon in 17 mall to get my grocery. Plenty of parking in the mall. Free parking if you purchase rm50 above
Well maintained, friendly hawkers, has a designated halal and non-halal section, lots of variety of vegetables and meat selection. Malaysia Street food heaven. Can’t get any more authentic than this.
Very nicely laid out and open air. There are enough vendors with a lot of variety, fresh fish and meats. You also get all the great breakfast treats like You Tiao and Fried Carrot Cake.
As recommended by a resident, went for curry laksa at one of the stalls. They serve vegetarian options and gave alot of taupok and fuchuk for the same price. Worth the money and it's delicious! It's the 3rd or 4th stall that also sells yong tau fu, next to the Indian stall. Do try if you are there.
This morning queque very long and slow. Was quequing from eggs & meat side. After 1 hr 15 minutes I gave up quequing. I hope tomorow is better.
A very hot place for your marketing needs, especially for those staying nearby and neighboring housing areas. However parking can be a nightmare in the mornings.
Quite a busy market but parking is impossible even at 6am though you can park inside the Seventeen Condominium (RM1 per hr). Very very fresh fishes and fruits.
