Only one line. Walk-in and appointment is the same queue and there’s no separation.
Made appointment at 9.30am, arrived at 8.15am and queued for about 1h. Was done by 10am. Do expect a lot of people and try to come early for your appointment.
The line is to the right, against the wall. Line up at the right side and then turn left into the entrance. Refer to picture.
A very busy and annoying Puspakom branch, no point booking an appointment as you'll just be waiting for hours anyways in a neverending queue to get your car inspected.
For example, went here on Wednesday and booked for 9 am to get my car inspected and it took them until 11.50 am to finalise and complete the inspection.
It's not about the size of the place or manpower problems as well I've noticed that the staff are just too laid back as well. Even there is a queue of maybe 300 or 400 meters they chit-chat and don't seem to even care.
Really really inefficient, make sure when you come here to come early. Around 7 am before it opens will be your best bet and will save you wasting precious time waiting in a useless queue.
The worst ever, even if you booked your appointment you still need to wait for hours because the majority didn’t book for the inspection.
My first time sending car for Puspakom inspection which was needed for transfer ownership (B5 Report). Scheduled online for an appointment at 9am Thursday. Arrived at 8: 45am, had to wait in queue on the side of the road (approx. 10-15 cars before me) but it wasn’t too long a wait.
Note: still have to wait in queue with others who walk in. But scheduling appointment helps make the registering and payment process faster. Make sure to bring a printed copy of the appointment confirmation and payment receipt alongside original vehicle registration card/cert.
Everything settled and received report at 9: 55am. An email of the report will also be sent to you and you can collect it at the Results Collection Room.
The Puspakom security guard and inspection officers (in Puspakom T-shirts) were very helpful and patient in guiding a first timer like me. Don’t be afraid to approach them and get their help. There were other regulars who were very helpful as well. Overall, very organised and efficient. Thank you to the kind staff working that day who ensured a smooth experience.
TL;DR
Schedule for early appointments from 8-9am and come early to avoid having to wait in long queues and so that you can have everything done by 10am. Appointment and walk in share one same queue, basically first come first serve.
Make booking appointment at 3pm, I'm queing from 2.30pm start inspection at 4.30pm.i dont know what is the purpose of booking appointment? Still wait for long q

So disappointed, online appointment and walk-in in a same lane, so what is the purpose to do online appointment? I arrived at 3: 30pm for inspection slot at 4pm, ended up get my car inspect at 6: 30pm and waited so long for the result.haven't got my result from email yet!
Where to queue before inspection, is not obvious. The location of the qr code paper you need to print off the website, is not obvious. The email with the results, of the inspection my car underwent, was not sent after waiting 24 hours and continued checking. And despite repeated calls to their landlines, no body answered. The V Cool tint which I know to be within government guidelines was somehow wrong at my windscreen but not on my doors, which leads me to believe the machine is rigged. However, since I am selling the car, I had it torn off. The staff are super polite and very patient with the large number of people.
Appointment 5pm, 4.15pm come in queue, 7.55pm only done, 3 hours plus waiting here! What the point of booking online appointment, the worst services in malaysia!

The checking technician do not respect people car. Max my car radio volume n Air-Cond like the car belongs to him!
Datang 1.30 app pukul 2. Pukul 5 baru settle. Elok lah tak payah buat booking. Suruh walk in je.
The worst puspakom. What is the point of booking if we need to que together with walkin? The security dont even divide between appointment and walkin. The security ask us to que properly based on first come first serve. Baik tak perlu buat appointment kan.
Appointment was at 12pm.we que from 10.30.12.30pm sharp they close for sembahyang jumaat and lunch. And our car was inspected around 2.45pm.we finish around 3.55pm.
We wasted 6 hours.very dissapointed with the service.the staff also very rude and favoritism with runner.
Come at 11am. Online booking 12.30 pm. But inspect 1 0'clock. Inspector rushing for lunch. Never inspect properly. Failed. Complaint customer care. Branch manager asked for reinspection. Long queue again. Lulus. Runner behind me at morning can do inspection twice without any problem. Second thing I waited for the result almost one hour. But the runner behind me can take result within 10 minute. Almost spend 5 hour. Back 4.15 pm.
The system worse ever. Don’t know what function for pay and booking in advance but still needs to queue for 2 hours. Really poor in services. Feel like still stuck in yr 1990
Good inspection but que w/o follow our booking time. When you reach in time, other people will cut the line.
