Pasar Malam SS 2 reviews
50Get ready to be in close proximity with a large crowd of people.but for the food, it's worth it
With the untiring efforts of the SS2 night market association, it's becoming a popular spot recently. Thanks for their hard work. Every Monday evening we see streams of customers flowing with potential to make a purchase be it food, refreshing drinks or any other consumer items. As for us we are selling Aiyee jelly (Aiyeeping) n Bubble Tea just opposite Ambank since 1993n 1998. Third generation customers now all grown ups have been patronising our stall with smiles n old stories n memories to recall. It's worth the effort, something that money can't buy.
Huge Pasar malam every Monday. This night market is historic and full of different products. Cakes of many varieties, imported and local fruits, vegetables of many types, and lots and lots of prepared food. This pasar malam has not changed at all. The crowds are a good sign of it's success
Best pasar malam experience when it comes to variety. There are way too many options on what to eat. You will go crazy trying to decide what to try. Personally I'd recommend the prawn fritters and the meat skewers and goreng Pisang as dessert.
A very traditional night market with lots and lots of food. When I say a lot, it means abundant.
The location is so strategic where the municipal can easily improve further with minimum cost, example, stricter control on hygiene n environment, better lighting in certain areas, more social activities, even the pricing of the food.
Love the variety of food choices here. Can settle ur dinner here. Be smart when you find parking.
Great place to lose a tail, get lost in a crowd, blend in, be anonymous and feel like you really could be anywhere and just a regular Joe nobody.at lest for a while.
One of the nicer night market you can find in klang Valley. It is not the biggest but I find it quite big. There are many stalls ranging from food to groceries to clothings. Certain stalls are very popular like the salted egg fried calamari and the fried carrot cakes.
Food n drink was good.with satay, cajun chick chop n mee soup.marvellous.only no shelter for rainy days.
Great variety of hawker food, fruits and all sorts of goodies.nice place to go and jalan jalan
Crowd needs to understand social distancing yo! Some with mask hanging not cool just follow the guideline. Peace!
Many foood varieties.if ur foodie fan.this is the palce to visit.but price slight more $$ than other pasar malams in pj
My favourite place for street food, however quality food stalls decline due to MCO, hope it back to its old glory days soon.
This is where we have been selling Bubble Tea n Ai Yee Jelly since 1994. We have third generations customers who usually come with a smile, the smile is something money can't buy. Some customers rate us
that we are the most traditional or old fashioned type of BubbleTea stall, n l spontaneously burst into a smile n laughter.
Ok la, got lots of food options to get your street food fix. Also located in the centre of Ss2, so be prepared to walk the entire circuit.
The Pasar Malam is back! Street foods at its best, always go to the pan fried Dumplings stall, Arisan fried chicken, Soya beans, and etc! Pay a visit and it'll definitely an absolute pleaser experience. Gotta share you guys a bit of the pan fried dumpling that I talked about, this one is Chives and Egg. They also have the Pork ones, as well as the mini pork dumplings! It's different because of the skin, it's handmade from flour and thicker than normal dumpling skin that is usually in a soup/deep fried.
Came here yesterday for the first time (30/3/21), It's still open! Quite crowded tho, not a lot of SOP going on but you still have to scan temperarture and Mysejahtera. I'm glad, bought a lot of food here!
If you wanna buy a lot of food, it's safer to at least bring RM100 xD it's still quite okay, affordable, don't worry xD tho I'm sad they don't have otak otak here: < most of the workers here are quite friendly!
TNG are accepted at some stalls, boost rarely but 1-2 stalls accept that as payment? You can find lots of kueh/ nasi kandar nearby the road while inside have varieties from fried chicken, dumplings, siu mai, stinky tofu, pork, duck, chicken, fried banana, vegetables, clothes, fruits as well etc!
Somewhere inside there's also food court! So if you didn't find any food from the stalls that you want, can go in the food court and eat also, I think it's called Medan Selera SS2? Also varieties of food, not sure about the price tho.
Overall I would recommend this place if you don't mind not having otak otak xD
A night market every Monday in SS2 square starting as early as 5pm (I think). My fave food to buy here are: 1. Salted egg mushroom 2. Taiwanese sausage 3. Thai pork bbq.plus some cheaper fresh fruits like avocado etc.
For me I find this pasar malam is the best in terms of choices for eatables. The traders friendliness is also commendable. I strongly recommend these few stalls which I frequented. There is a stall manned by a mother and son somewhere in the middle of the road selling vinegar pig trotter (chee kuok choe) which is the best in town and together with mutton curry, (A+) sweet sour spicy vegetable and curry chicken. A little bit down the road there's another stall where they sell petai with ikan bilis also very good. Both stall charge a very reasonable price. Their food is superb.
At the end of the road there's a fruit stall. They are wholesale seller. Their fruits are always fresh, alot of varieties and charges quite reasonable too.
