KL Auto @ Glenmarie

Went there to do soundproofing for my old car. The manager, Ken was helpful to explain the soundproofing services and also the auto foam for improve car handling. Overall, satisfy with the soundproofing done so far.

Done Auto foam comfort package at the Glenmarie branch.

My Mitsubishi ASX feel more solid and improved handling after the foaming. Will come back for other packages in the future.

Despite some miscommunication regarding the appointment, Desmond did help to rectify and complete the service delivery per appointment.

Just did 1300km + trip around Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu Kelantan
Here is my comment after driving on multiple highway, B road and cities driving

Highway: car felt more stable & less floating during highspeed driving and cornering

B roads: this is the best part, it felt like more expensive car handling bad road surface and cornering is

Cities drive: driving over bumps is enjoying now, car become more agile and willing to turn into sharp corner/ u turn rather than understeel. I believe the limit is on the stock Axia’s tyres now not the car chassis anymore

Other minor noticeable thingy:
The sound of closing door felt more solid and car chassis vibration is more manageable when driving on really bad road comparing to before

Worth every sen!

Did a comfort foam package and soundproof for Honda N-BOX. It drives better, comfort and feels solid as well especially around corners.

Throttle response feels way better than before thus it improves fuel economy as well.

Roof treatment does a great job. No more noisy tin kosong sound from the roof when raining.

Very professional work by Mr Kenny and his team despite the long process. Autofoam is a must if you want your ride to feel solid and comfortable.

I didn't expect much on the nvh with my 'marhaen' car, like i mentioned to Mr. Boss Desmond.but i am extremely happy after done the Comfort Package.
Feels rigid, stable while cornering and 'dup' sound when goes to speed bump.

Installed my 5 year old odyssey with auto foam comfort package and door-window sound treatment. Apart from improved handling, the sound treatment makes my speakers sound better too (because of significant sound proofing).

Feel like driving a new car

Did the ultimate package autofoam on my 12 year old myvi. The car feels more stable during high speed, less bumpy and definitely more comfortable. Engine vibration, road noise and wind noise are noticeable reduce. To my surprise the tweeter on the A pillar sound better too!

Its true, me like it tighter.

Just got my diesel 216 and decided to autofoam and SP asap as the NVH for diesel cars is quite bad. This is my fourth time autofoaming and decided to do it at Glenmarie instead of Jalan Ipoh.

No surprises since it's my 4th time The car takes rough roads and yellow strips like a champ and much more composed over red strips. It also reduced the vibrations from the diesel engine significantly, especially when idling. Even my wife noticed it when she got in the car.

Rear boot SP - boot is much quieter after soundproofing the floorpan, rear wheel arch and C pillar. Some minor exhaust note which became more noticeable with the quieter cabin that Desmond will help me with the next time when I'm in town

Service Experience - Excellent. Kenny and his two staff were very detailed and careful when dismantling parts from my car and even helped me to replace the bolts that were missing from my undercarriage! Kenny was also very patient in explaining to me when I have questions. Great job Glenmarie team

Totally satisfied with the soundproofing done to my 7 seater Mazda Biante. It rides so much quieter now, road/ tire noise down quite substantially and the roof (the noisest when raining) has been substantially reduced too!

Love how much quieter and comfortable for the ears now.

Also did the autofoam but I can't really do much performance stuff on a 7 seater MPV so can't really comment much on this. Although, the foaming is also supposed to reduce noise due to vibrations, to which I can say that the entire cabin in the MPV now is much quieter. So maybe not noticeable performance but noticeable noise reduction - my main objective.

Went for the hydrogen de-carbonising treatment last week as my car was having pinging and knocking sounds, this really cured the noise and restored power back to the car, good stuff! Thanks to Kenny the workshop manager /technician, I will be back for the autofoam treatment next!

After done autofoam on my car, I can feel the handling has improved significantly. The body roll has reduced significantly too. Pretty worth it!

My first experience with KL Auto was to soundproof my Passat B8 (I believe all B8 owners are aware how terrible the road noise can be). They explained to me on where should the soundproofing materials should be installed on and I am so thankful that I listened to their advice. They have eliminated the road noise so much that even the lousy MC5 tyres were no longer irritating.

When I came across an article that the new Mercedes are also injecting foam into their car's chassis. I did not hesitate to approach KL Auto to recommend me the Autofoam packages they offer. They have recommended me to go for the Comfort Package.

As I'm not a highly skilled driver, my expectation from this Autofoam was only to provide more stability when cruising on highways. But the improvement i experienced was way more than I anticipated, they have managed to unlock the potential of the car beyond my imagination:

1. Handling improved tremendously, I have experienced much lesser body roll going through high speed corners that I was able to corner at speeds I never imagined I could, without compromising the ride comfort.

2. Cruising on highway felt effortless. I find it hard to believe the car's transformation from an upsized gti to such a comfortable cruiser.

3. Interior rattling has decreased as compared to last time and the car no longer sound like it will fall apart when driving on brick roads (Sunway)

And my favourite part dealing with KL Auto is they only recommend products that are relevant to me, there were very honest with me that they no longer have any additional package to recommend me. They have successfully converted me into a loyal customer, I look forward to having more projects with them in the future.

Took the Comfort package for my MarkX and the driving experience has improved significantly. My car felt much more solid and rigid, much more confidence in pushing the car and during braking. Turning a Toyota very close to continental-like handling (coming from a VW to a Toyota). It is quite surprising how this foam can change the handling of the car so much without the need to install additional strut bar to the car. Well done to Desmond, Kenny and his team.

Will definitely come back again for future sound proofing upgrades.
