Followed a friend to sort out dashcam issue. Heard he had to return multiple times to fix the issue. He wasn't happy at all

This place no longer accepts walk in as there are just too many appointments already due to the popularity of Honda in Malaysia. Used to provide breakfast such as nasi lemak and fried mihun packs but no longer (due to cost cutting?). Be wary of diagnostics involving expensive parts when they suggest certain expensive parts need to be changed. Better get a second opinion elsewhere.

UPDATE Sept 2023: Don't ever send your Honda here for any other issues other than regular servicing because they don't keep stock of major components. My car alternator is having problem and need to be replaced coz the battery indicator on the dashboard lit up on a Saturday night. Didn't dare to drive anywhere further after that waiting to send in here (nearest to my house) for Monday morning to have the alternator replaced - as battery indicator on the dashboard most probably means alternator issue with charging the battery), mana tau they asked me to leave the car there for the whole day, requested agreement to have RM159 checking fee (when I already know the problem), but didn't bother to tell me upfront they have no stock, thus wasted my whole day waiting expecting the alternator to be replaced. To add oil to the fire, they quoted me about RM6.5k for alternator replacement (which they don't have stock) but I can get original Honda alternator for about RM2k from original Honda parts supplier. So it's wasted RM159 for the checking fee (which I already know the cause is the alternator) but no solution and risking driving around depending on the charge and condition of the battery only (luckily I changed the battery not too long ago). Seriously Honda Malaysia should revoke this centre's Honda service centre status for incompetence!

Attn. Kah Motor Puchong. I have given you over 1 week to respond to my comments and since there was no response, here are my opinion on my recent experience with your service. I am very disappointed by your service. The money I paid over RM 780 is totally not worth it! I wish to make an official complaint about my total dissatisfaction with Kah Motor service!

I had to send my car to another service provider because of your incompetence. They found that my front brake pads have only 10% left! This was not spotted by your technicians. My own mechanic spotted my worn brake pad when checking my gearbox. How is it your own staff could not and DID NOT inform me about this?
6 months ago your staff did not comment on my brake pads when I send for service. 6 months later (recently) also no comment. That’s a total of 1 year that you did not check my brakes! Did you expect me to drive around with worn out brake pads until the next service? Do you realise how you have put your customer’s life at risk? !

The next item I am very upset about is regarding my gearbox. Your technician said ‘Found Iron Fillings in the gearbox when draining out gearbox oil. Gearbox is not in a good condition. ’ The explanation in writing and in person was not sufficient and inaccurate. Those are metal shavings/residue NOT iron fillings.

They did not explain what will happen if the gearbox was not serviced. They did not explain in the terms that me, as a customer, would understand. I find this very unhelpful and troublesome. Without a proper explanation, I had a very difficult time finding an alternative workshop to service my gearbox. I had to go to the INTERNET to find out the actual problem!

Furthermore, the picture describing the issue was not sent to me on the spot. When I called to enquire about the picture, they said the technician is busy. They did not update me and when I called again, they said it’s after hours! The picture only arrived the following day. I lost 1 day trying to describe my gearbox issue to my technician because I expected the picture of such a serious issue to be immediately sent to me.

With regards to my brake pad being exhausted, the pitiful lack of details in describing the issues to me as a customer and my gearbox overhaul, I find your service to be very INCOMPETENT and your staff very IRRESPONSIBLE.

Your price is higher than the rest but your service does not reflect the professionalism I expect. I would not be coming back here

Call since 8.30am till 9.30, no one pick up the call. Honda apps cannot use, then call also no one answer. How to make appointment?

Too expensive when vehicles under used example if your car due for service the don't count on mth they count on the car dates register, maybe 2 months must service although your mileage is low if not no warranty.

I booked appointment with this service centre one week in advance to service my car using Honda Touch app. Although the app allows booking, the service centre rep called to say that appointment is full and asked me to reschedule my appointment. They have also cancelled my booking on Honda Touch without my permission. What’s the point of using Honda Touch if the service centre can access and change the bookings as their wish. Hence, this app is unreliable. After that, I quickly called another service centre and managed to get appointment on the same day itself. I have also encountered many problems during complaint inspection where they don’t have capable staff to resolve the issue. After so many visits and so many months, the problem remains unresolved. This makes me regret buying from Honda Malaysia

I would like to give 100% Compliment to the customer service pretty Indian girl and also the SA chinese guy who serve me. As my car got problem n the Indian girl able to give me earliest slot to let the car overnight for checking, and also able to allocate the professional Chinese SA who briefed me my car problem in detail n solve it within the short period. I am really appreciate for the fantastic service and sure will recommend my frens on this workshop n will continue give support. Thanks for the excellemt service again. Stay safe n healthy always.

Counter 5 guy on the 22/7 Friday 9.20am, horrible slacking not attentive, should probably take the day off with this kind of working attitude and ethic. Counter 6 guy friendly and attentive

Honda service center here is quick and efficient. Friendly receptionist that helps make booking for appointments hassle free and fast.

Staff here are all friendly and helpful. Quotation was given before any action is taken so that you are clear and know what you are paying for.

Quick service and comfortable waiting area. Highly recommended.

Service ok, tapi, bila kereta rosak nak claim, 3 minggu tunggu nak repair.reason, barang xde.until then, kereta x boleh pakai takut rosak.so, along the way, customer merana.bayar bank jalan je hari2.better g shah alam center.boleh je cepat.the worst service center punchong ni.time nak duit, bukan main laju.time nak claim warranty, mcm siput keje

Sent few times for wife's car. Systematic registration.upon arrival. SA polite and courteous. When completed SA send reminder to collect. Waiting area having enough seating with gap. Just cafe still close.overall, is good.

Very disappointed with handling of warranty claim and had to keep following up. Could have gone to a better workshop but stick around for warranty. Big Regret and do not recommend.

Current visit.

Due to Covid 19, they had closed their beverage section.

However, they should have provided drinks (mineral water in cup) ? For customers. Cant be waiting there for two / three hours without water.

Visit Five months ago.

Could have been better.

The manager kept telling you that he is very busy.

Delays in getting an issue fixed, keep dragging. Then, conveniently tells you warranty expired, so nothing can be done.

Honda have good cars, but overall, their service centre just not into customers. Disappointing.

Previous centre refuse to admit faulty parts and insisted its normal. Was forced to change the part outside Honda for safety reason due to defective bearing.

Missing one clip in my engine bay cover, driver carpet lock reported repaired but not fix. Incompetent and not trustworthy. Easy fix also owner hv to keep track.

If you want to service your car, you need to book first for fast queue or you will waiting and waiting until you car get service if you didnt book first.
