The most unhelpful agency ever to exist. At first, my complaint was attended to, JTK even issued a 'perintah penyelesaian' to my ex-employer. After my ex employer failed to fulfill any of the payment obligations set, I went to JTK and asked them the next best course of action. This is when JTK started to wash their hands completely and NEVER made any effort to follow up. I sent emails requesting for the latest updates and they never bothered to reply. Also sent an email to JTK Hq, and it was just forwarded back to JTK Subang. Still no reply.
Officers are just lazy and complacent makan gaji buta.

No point pergi buat complain sebab pihak JTK tak menjalankan tugas mereka competently. End up I pergi for the keys hearing three times with the same REASON.pintu tutup la, tekan loceng tak keluar la and etc. I feel you as an officer have all the rights to have a bold action. Ini tak.last2 I sendiri continue follow up with my previous majikan and they settled my pending. So lesson here, don't waste your time going here, because at the end you will find yourself not being helped!

Tak guna pergi patut bantu perkerja yg terinaya oleh majikan ini sebaliknya.boleh berpihak pada majikan tak guna betul rasuah berleluasa jgn mimpi JTK nak bantu perkerja terutama org melayu

You can tell when you call that they just end the call. After calling multiple times, it straight goes to voicemail

Went on 04/09/2023 at 12: 10pm.

Excellent work to the receptionist and also officer that attended to our concerns. They were polite, attentive, and gave us advise on proper procedure of our case.

The first line of staff were good people, they assisted the best with taking statements/complaints and arranging hearing. Kudos to them and I pray to Allah the best for them and their family. They made it felt like they were trying to help as best as they could. The worst was when the case got assigned to the officer. Even with police report and documents, the officer kept saying they could not do anything about it and kept dismissing the issue. Ex-employer did not come to first hearing, she kept asking to drop the case, didn’t care, didn’t want to listen or help at all. She didn’t even want to review and investigate the case. The officer named Tengku Faizura was dismissive, set from the beginning that the case was nothing to fight for, refused to proceed to second hearing. Ex-employer now becomes a bigger bully thanks to you. Calls/emails were never responded to. Anyone who gets abused/bullied by employers and needs help will never get the proper help or care at all from JTK. I pray to Allah that this officer Tengku Faizura who refused to assist people who are in dire need of help after being abused/bullied by employers, which is her job in the first place, will receive her reckoning in this life or hereafter for not doing her job as she should be. I pray to Allah if it’s not for her, let it be for her children. I do not appreciate this terrible experience and I do not forgive this.

Hubungi banyak kali, tapi busy dan tak pernah dijawabnya. Hampa dengan perkhidmatan macam ini. Malu jadi rakyat Malaysia.

Kenapa setiap kali saya tekan call it immediately reject call ye.ape masalah Jabatan Tenaga Kerja ye.boleh saya tau ke tak ye.saya nak buat aduan mengenai majikan saya.tapi panggilan pulak tak dapat dihubungi.jadinya saya nak hubungi siapa ni ye

JTK Negeri Selangor takde jawab emel selebih 3 kali, walaupun ada semua bukti diberikan kepadanya, masih tak dengar sesiapa pegawai maklumbalas lebih seminggu, buat panggilan hotline TAKDE orang jawab juga

The Indian officer D. Arnish or Arvind or something (I can't remember his name) lied straight to my face. JTK I am going to BPA to fail a complaint for your blatant refusal to accept my complaint. No wonder you guys need to go for training or kursus - it's because your personnel knowledge is totally low for the lack of better word. JTK as the responsible agency should at least let me file a formal complaint not refusing irrespective of the total amount of complaint. FYI, the company is incepted under company act not an agency under government or statutory act whatsoever. This showed how low your personnel knowledge on this matter.

It was the first time I visited this office alone in mid of September to settle my unpaid three months' salary. The security guard at the lobby was very friendly and helpful in guiding me to the labour department office on the second floor in the east wing. Once I arrived on the second floor, the clerk was very attentive in guiding me step by step to take a number to complain to my employer. The officer handling my complaint was stern yet attentive to ensure my report was strong. They scheduled my case for mediation on the first week of October, and the office in charge at that time was calm yet stern to ensure both representatives between the complaint and defendant could say their peace until they reached an agreement.

I am impressed with how efficient their service was despite how rundown the office was. I believe the state or federal government should at least try to improve the office facilities. I applaud the officers who handled my case.

I highly recommend that everyone visit this place to inquire about labour rights under the Malaysia employment act. Even if you have zero experience like me, please don't worry because the officers at the labour office will be there to help you.

I would said JTK subang, provided a very good service, we seldom have good experience with government dept. Therefore, I feel they deserve to be complimented. They are friendly & helpful giving advice & clarification.
I do not know why some people said their phone calls were not unanswered but I called for 3 times all calls answered & they gave answers to my questions. Maybe lucky.phones calls to them have better response than calling telco providers!

Pihak pengurusan atas perlu memantau staf agar pihak yang memerlukan bantuan dibantu seadanya.bila call utk cakap dengan staf aje je alasan staf xde di opis.pernah sekali call tnya pasal dokumen softcopy dia minta dtg subang jaya, xfikir kos dan sebagainya.sedangkan boleh je emel.bila dah kena "sekolah" baru dia emel.ni kan zaman teknologi tlg permudahkan urusan rakyat.

Very bad service. When I was seeking for help, the female officer asked me, "Are you a Johorean? " Then she just told me that she cannot do anything as my boss didn't pay me OT and didn't pay me salary as I decided to leave. Hello, you are supposed to help workers, not bosses! If you want to help bosses, please close your office!

Cuba call dah dekat 20 Kali tapi semua operater mesin yg jwp.semua staff sibuk sangat ker yg smp sorang pun x boleh jwp call.nie lah staff kerajaan nnt org awam ckp korang semua makan gaji buta marah tapi ternyata betul.customer service terlalu teruk.kecewa dengan staff yg ada
