HENG KEE KEPONG BAK KUT TEH PJ OLD TOWN reviews
25 Hole in a wall restaurant with spacious sitting. Service was good.
BKT soup has not much flavour.
The pepper stomach soup was good thou.
Fuiyo this shop. I tell you, their vinegar pork trotters is sooo good. The best I've had in KL made by a shop. The taste, sourness, and the caramelized sweetness is exactly the type you SHOULD go for, not those outside capalang bakkutteh watery vinegar pork trotters.
Everything is good. Nothing is not good.
Go in a group. Order more things to try. Order that vinegar pork trotters. Their dry bak kut teh is also good. Yum.
Tasty bak kit teh.so crowded here.but very good service.i like how thoughtful they are where they added soup to our pot when our soup almost finishing without us even asking.
Bakuteh pork belly and the broth was good. However most varieties sold up if you coming around 9pm. Parking okay to find. Price are okay with portion given. Service could have been a bit better, like the worker didn’t even bother to wipe the table after requesting.
Food was alright, dry bak kut teh was nice for a change (the ladies finger was under cooked). The bak kut teh soup was light compared to our usual place
Small portion and like warm water more then in the soup base.
The attitude of the owner (Cooker) were unfriendly.tiny gangsta mcm when serve clients.
Hygiene just average as stray cats were everywhere around the compound.
Very fresh, tender meat & I love their soup! It's different from those bak ku teh that fill with soy sauce taste.
Must try the chicken wine, yummy delicious!
If you don't the typical dark strong soup, you can try this one. I am not a super fan of BKT. But I find here the taste suit me. Good
Been ordering through Grabfood. Very nice. Always ordered the set and it's really worth it. Good amount of meat and soup. Taste great as well for both soup and dry bkt. Especially love their dry bky. Every time put remarks on the type of meat i want and it's never been missed out by the staffs. A lot better than other bkt restaurant i ordered on grabfood. Highly recommended.
The food is good and tasty. I went there three times in the last two weeks.
Prices are reasonable. Not crowded. Social distancing at its best.
I recommend to everyone.
The Bak Kut Teh was very so-so. We ordered the leg meat on a small bone (claypot), a dry BKT and lettuce. Bill came up to RM 50.
Enjoyed a yummy, aromatic and reasonably priced bak kut teh (both wet and and dry version) in a clean and comfortable environment. Also served delicious pork vinegar trotter, black pepper pig stomach soup, rice wine chicken and rice wine pig kidney
Bak Kut Teh with a smile. Located inside the industrial area of PJ old town, this will serves the residence some old school pork broth delicacy. They have some different food menus too. Large spot to park your car.
The outstanding dish is dry BKT. They use roasted garlic and the sauce taste like Pong Teh. The soup BKT, only see the many layered intestines here. Usu, single layer intestines else where. The chicken w wine is very good as well. I travel from Subang to here, when I crave the dry BKT.
My place whenever I'm in town.
The side order of kidneys or liver is my must,
and if owner Billy happens to be around he will tell you stories
Good bakkutteh but very pricey, especially the wine chicken. The soup bakkutteh is good though, the intestines are well cleaned. Like their variety of rice to choose from.
Very light soup. Clean and simple restaurant. Ample parking opposite the restaurant. Closed on Wednesdays.
Very Nice Staff.
Wont kedekut for soup filling. Most important is the place is clean enough.
Thumb Up for thouse bak kut teh hunter,
Ordered the dry Bak kuh teh (lean meat). Comes with dried chilli and ladies finger cooked in a claypot, definitely a hit.
The sides were a miss in my opinion, tau pok (fried beancurd) tasted flat and the you tiao didn't stand out either, will take away 1 star for that.
