9Helpful Malay staff who explained about what to do prior to bringing my printer there. She also gave useful advices about warranty checking online.
Unpleasant experience:
1) it took 4 working days to get the printer repair quotation.
2) In the quotation, it mentioned spare parts are only available in May (sent in 1 April). I called to confirm the available date but was told they have the spare parts and ready for repair.
3) Replied the email and confirmed the repair as spare parts are available.
4) After that, got the email reply said that spare parts are only available in May.
5) Went to the shop to collect back the printer without repair, but waited 20 minutes just to get back the printer.
If there is NO stars this center will be it. This is the last time I am ever going to buy an Epson printer cause the availability and its after service is this bad. The center is in a really slummy location which made me worry when driving there. I've had a Canon printer prior and the aftersales is efficient and professional.
If there is 0 star, I would give 0 star. The worst service company I have ever met. No update or follow up, I have to call every time. Brought in my printer with wifi issue to fix, no update at all, I called them at the 5th days, they said my printer need to have replacement of printer head and few other things, they sent me the quotation with for the repair, I agreed and asked them how would they want me to pay, they said I could pay everything when I collect it when it's done.
Today After 2 weeks, no update or follow up, I called them back, they said will update me back. Later on the same day, suddenly received an email, said I need to make advance payment of 50% before they will fix it.
I don't understand this at all, they sent me the quotation a week before, I asked them how to pay, they said can pay when I collect the printer, now suddenly said need 50% advance payment. That means the printer is not even fixed yet.
For all those good reviews, maybe you guys are still under warranty, my printer is out of warranty already. I will never ever buy Epson anymore
August 20, the person in charge explained clearly about the defect of my new J3110 printer with courteous words and completely fixed the problem after 10 minuts. His trusted handlings were the same as Epson's services in Japan.
