Ordered semi anticlimb fence and engage them to install. The purchase experience seems Ok but the installation has some issues. They engage outsider contractor who is not so well trained and they do not seems to have proper installation guideline. They set up the poles without discussing with you in advanced and end up having to relocate the poles as they do not consider the artistic aspect during installation. However, they, at the end, willing to relocate the installed poles as we feel they were not at the right locations. The contractor was not so willing at the beginning and give some lame excuses saying they might not have sufficient wall plug. Luckily, Steven from Alex manufacturer has immediately corrected this which we feel relief. 2nd problem during installation was that the 8 ft panels were shaking to different extent. The worst one was so bad that when you push out it will not spring back and we have to check ourselves (which we donot expect) then to ask them to redo and we need to put some effort in "negotiating" before they do it. We didnt manage to check all panels on the first day and after hand over we found that some panels were still shaking too much as some are more rigid. We reported the issue back to Alex manufacturer. The initial feedback is quite friendly but later they start to give excuses such as the installed panels will not be fully rigid. We can understand that the final installed panel might not be fully rigid but the shaking extent of all panels should be similar. The good thing about Alex manufacturer is, they proactive to send the contractor back and they did come and fix them by tightening more and this can be avoided if they have proper checking before handing over to owner. The 3rd issue is about the rusting. The door latch and few wall plugs have rusted in less than a week after they installed. The explanation given is that these are mild steel and not galvanised and they are meant to be rusted. However, they do have brought spray paint to spray at various places but just that they didnot cover all locations or didnt do the job properly (I think). I do not feel that we should received a product that will rust in less than a week. Dont they have better material that is not rusting so easily or cant they do proper spray paint such that it will at least last longer especially they when the installation is under Alex manufacturer. Is the non rusting screw and nuts so much more expensive compare to the overall cost? I doubt. However, i still give them 4 stars as they do try to rectify the problem and the contractor also quite friendly and help us to do extra small jobs for free. But definitely the workflow can be improved.

I have encountered with 2 sales lady from this company. They both are not professional, doesn't understand the product even it is from their own catalog. All they asked is for me to provide detailed spec and unable to give professional proposal. If you do not have detail spec, don't look for them as their product knowledge is poor. I wonder if their boss knows what is happening.

To add after their boss contacted me personally with sincere apologies, he provided with tiptop service and explanation on their product and able to propose what is best for my application. No only that, he can identify the cons of my ideas and give suggestions accordingly. Overall very good experience with Alex. He is very professional in both attitude and product knowledge.
