15 The visit to AIA Takaful Tarmizi was uneventful and the SOP was strictly adhered to. There was a huge TV screen that took your picture and read your temperature at the same time.
The lifts were t equally strict and positions were marked well.
The cashier at AIA was delightful and efficient.
My matters were settled in a matter of a few minutes.
All in all, this was a clean visit.
Ms. Hazel at the customer service department on level 18, PJ33 in Jalan Kemajuan has helped me to transition from my old Excelcare to my new "A-LifeMed Regular" health insurance, with a lot of patience and explanation. It's a 5-star customer experience, indeed that I have never had at Menara AIA in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur!
Staff at AIA often asked why I don't use auto debit to pay for the premium. I want to share a bad experience with you all. About a year before I started paying by cash OTC I was using a bank to pay AIA every month using standing instructions. This has been going on since inception of the insurance policy. Suddenly about a year back AIA said that they didn't receive the premiums for some 12 months+. To catch up on the arrears I have had to pay penalty for supposedly late payments through no fault of mine!? It seems the payments remitted by my bank was not captured at AIA's end!? After all the 'hoo hah' they wrote to say that they have terminated the standing instructions for premium payments. Not a word of apology.
Unfirtunately it would seem Monday mornings are not the time to visit this building. Had to park on top level of carpark in last parking spot. Queue at AIA 18th floor for 15mins for a ticket to be served. Took 1 and a half hours to be served. Was told eventually my cheque would be auto banked in but it came in the post 1 week later. Not a very convenient way to deal with insurance in a city of 4 million people. Also waiting time means higher parking fees. Im not sure what day is best to visit but I would say best avoid the place unless absolutely necessary.
Zero stars, incredibly INEFFICIENT: merely to just change and update information, waited 1 hour 15mins and it is still not our turn.
Visit & inquiry. Although this building got multi car park but difficult for customers to find one during working hour.
Customer Service very very poor.kena beratur lama untuk ambil borang.dan kena beratur lagi selepas isi borang utk ambil no.napa x bg sekali.kesian pregnant lady n orang tua yang kena beratur panjang.
Gomen service lagi better.
Tak boleh pakai, beratur 2jam dapat no lagi nak tunggu lama.paling teruk saya kena, government services lagi bagus dari dia.
Bad queuing system. Make customer queue for so long to get a number. I see old people queuing. Such a pity when there is a problem not customer fault but agent they treat u badly.payment is like ecpress access. Please improve
Every time systems down for housing loan. 7 times same answere by cashiers over the counters. Ive to pay RM 3 car park and this is the answere i get from them. They them self claims international company. No words anymore! But staffs are good and polite.
Helpful staff. Easy to get information. Comfortable office space now that the insurance agents are sent to a different level of the AIA building. That helps
Extremely slow. Been waiting here for an hour and only 3 numbers have passed. And there's still another 5 more to go. By the looks of it extremely understaffed. Place is clean and nice but the wait is extremely annoying.
Excruciatingly long wait to get customer service. 3 customer service officers to 40 ppl waiting. I hv waited for 1 hr and it is still not my turn
