Starbucks Coffee reviews
43Air conditioner is not working at all and gets very hot and stuffy especially during the afternoon. Come on starbucks, you can do better.
Came here after a long day of work for a good cup of coffee at around 9pm, was told by the staff upstairs that the sitting area is closed. Staff were quite loud talking to each other. Did not bother to call my name when the coffee is ready.
Pros
- Ample parking (compared to Stutong)
- Good location
- Clean
- Food & Beverages are up to standards
Cons
- Loud staff making the whole area sound like a kopitiam
- Did not call my name even though food & drink is ready
- Upstairs close too early at 9am (not sure why, my purpose of coming here is to enjoy the seats upstairs)
- Sitting area downstairs is a little cramped (perhaps designed for Hobbits)
Overall, rather subpar experience despite paying premium price coffee.
Staff are friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that they opened up a new wing so its more spacious. Just that once in a while, tend to have undesirable young customers who hang around in a large group and talk loudly without regards for others.
A bit dusty along the window sills, but that just adds to the temple altar vibe. All hail the Starbucks Mermaid, goddess of overpriced beverages. May her skilled baristas forever satiate our constant thirst.
This is probably the best Starbucks in Kuching.
The staff are friendly, they are really quick and created an awesome environment.
Great location, and nice Starbucks products, but the service, the cashier, and even organising the place is unprofessional and bad, presenting bad image of Starbucks, was shocking to see this type of service in starbucks
Pretty standard Starbucks store with friendly service. Drinks are of typical quality, so is the food.
Seating here is plentiful upstairs: enough electrical plugs for your gadgets too. Toilets for guests are upstairs.
I really like the staff with Sharoon name if im not mistaken lah, shes so kind. Others so arrogant aiyo
Tried to redeem my free birthday cake after making a purchase early this month another Starbucks branch but the male cashier wearing a cap was not very friendly.
In fact he kept staring at me like I was some criminal. Starbucks should train their staff better. His colleague was more helpful and asked me to check with customer service.
You can't mess up with Starbucks, the drinks are pretty much the same everywhere. But the queue can be a little long during peak hours (e.g 11am to 1pm, 5pm to 7pm etc.)
Good place, good drinks but super rude staff. Don't feel welcome and the staff don't care and bother to serve customer respectfully. Won't recommend anyone to go there for drinks.
Nothing much to say really. It's a Starbucks. Everybody knows it's an overpriced fancy coffee joint. You like it, you go. You don't like it, go elsewhere. Simple as that. Service of course is good. You get what you pay for.
This Starbucks don't have friendly baristas and they often forget about your order and this happened to me yesterday and the barista don't even ask what my drink is. I was very frustrated about they treat customers. Such a waste of time if you go to this outlet. This cause me to wait about half an hour. They don't even bother about asking what drink i order. The barista also don't even apologize to me. This outlet should be removed immediately. I'm so frustrated
Can stop by friendship park across the road to burn all that caffeine and sugar off. Nice atmosphere. Some of the workers make better drinks. Cant really know whether it would be a good day or not.
This is a great location for a starbucks outlet. The only problem is the male cashier who is super unprofessional. I always come here to get my coffee and he always dissapoints me with his rude, arrogant speech and tone. He made me wait for 10 minutes just to take an order while he was busy fiddling with the cakes for some reason. And once my drink was made he didn't even call out my name and just left the drink and the counter. Starbucks management should definitely consider getting rid of him, because him being there is a huge setback for this outlet. PS, I'm not the only one that has complained about him, I scrolled and read other reviews and noticed other customers complain specifically about him too, which is very telling about his professionalism.
This Starbucks used to have lovely baristas. One of the baristas I've encountered today was the most patronizing and condescending person I've ever met. When I could not hear what he was saying, he commented rudely on my English speaking skill before repeating what he said impatiently. Honestly, if this Starbucks does not already lose customers due to COVID, pretty sure it's going to lose customers because of the rude barista. The 1 star rating is for the nice cashier lady, otherwise, I would have given no star (if that's possible)
My personal experience: the staffs are quite rude and not really following the covid-19 SOP.would really hope to see improvement the next time i visit.
This is hands down the best hardware shop on the Matang/Petra Jaya side of the river. Well stocked, and a large variety of tools, equipment and materials.
It's you atypical Starbucks but the staff are friendly and efficient which I think sets it above the rest. Unfortunately, if you wants quiet place to chill this won't be the best place to do it since many students are there for meet ups or to study so the place is usually crowded on weekends and can get loud
Hmm. The atmosphere was excellent. There are two sections of the place: The section with Jazz music and the section with silence. Also, wide open windows. The drinks. The green tea felt like they mixed quite a lot of matcha powder in it. Not very pleasant to feel on my throat. I prefer traditional/regular green tea. The sweet and sour drink (I forgot the complete name) was not sweet nor noticeably sour. I suppose others would like the bitterness.
Interesting unrelated sidenote: Every Starbucks employee that I have ever met so far all look similar.
