The proprietress of the water is very friendly~
It is recommended that you go early, sometimes there will be no seats.
Personally, I think the taste of dry noodles can be tried~
I ordered the Koro noodles.
The pastries are delicious, highly recommended.
Meat Tart has a lot of meat and a lot of vegetables.

Very clean, tables are not too close to each other, business owners are humble & polite, venue has some "heritage / sentimental coffee shop" feel unfortunately, didn't get to try the popiah, "holiday"

Delicious Sarawak laksa with a good portion. Service is also always fast & efficient. However, the place gets crowded fast, so parking can be a bit of an issue. Also, prepare to get in line to get a seat here. Other than that, great place with good food.

Previously had the Kolomee before was nice today maybe not out of hand. But still the toast bread and soft boiled egg still best.

We went there for our breakfast and ordered the Kolo mee, Sarawak Laksa and Popiah. I honestly don’t know why people praised so much of their food. Tastes wise nothing great and quite pricey. I think for a large bowl of Sarawak Laksa they charged us RM15, Popiah at RM9 for 2 pcs, Kolo mee if not mistaken at RM4.50.

If it's good enough for Anthony bourdain it's good enough for me! Though we did have to wait a while for our medium bowl (10rm) of laksa.
Popiah is great too.

I flew to Kuching Sarawak to try the Laksa here. Sarawak Laksa is now my favorite. This bowl was absolutely delicious. The best one of the three I had in Kuching so far. I even tried chicken feet here.

It was busy at 9am on a sunday so we decided to take away.to go laksa is about 20mins wait, but worth it.it was delicious and we enjoyed it very much.popiah was packed full with filling.kolo mee was just ok, had better ones elsewhere.

Friends invited me here to try the legendary Sarawak Laksa and I don't regret. I tried it before in other places but this one is definitely the best and have its own unique flavour.

We also had Popiah which was really good with peanuts inside for that extra crunch.

Place gets very crowdy in the morning so you have to wait for a table. Also not easy to find a parking space but it's worth the effort.

The usual old school Kuching kopi tiam. Has other goodies apart from Laksa. The popiah is very good and so is the kolo mee. I personally give the Laksa 5/10.

Nice service, nice place but for west malaysians i think this laksa is too pure, they use very less santan, a local sarawakian told me this is the original way, since we have ate different laksa sarawak, its a bit hard to say the best

Seriously over rated. The coffee is possibly below average. Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa are overrated. I had better one in other place. But the popiah is good.

Great coffee, laksa, kolo mee, popiah and kaya toasts with half boiled eggs. Love the kopitiam ambience and organised chaos vibe during breakfast, very Kuching like

Must try list!
1. Laksa (got S, M, L size) p.s. Prawns r very fresh
2. Spring roll p.s. Order one for yourself is not enough
3. Mi kolok
4. Roti kawin p.s. If you r crunchy lover then this place is for you

Because the Kolo Mee was made world-famous by the late Anthony Bourdain, I had to come here this morning just to try the Sarawak Laksa. And, it was awesome. I can't say that it's the best, because I need to try many others.

However, when I got here at 10.25am, I managed to get the last bowl of Sarawak Laksa and they sold out. A small portion was RM8.00, and was great, full of flavour and a tad spicy.

I can imagine why so many people come here for the laksa. It's well balanced. Yet to try others, as I saw there was Kolo Mee, Popia and porridge. Buy seems like 90% come here for the famous Sarawak Laksa. If its your 1st time to Kuching, I recommend you come try this. And come early, before 10am is best.

Sarawak laksa: 9/10
Ambience: Packed. Long wait to get table
Wait time for food: 1 hour on a Sunday morning

Be prepared to wait. Not for the impatient. Worth to try at least once.

The long queue you see outside the shop already tells that it must be a good shop! The Sarawak Laksa a.k. A. BREAKFAST OF THE GODS (as quoted by the late Anthony Bourdain) tastes exceptionally authentic. They ran out of prawns during the time of my order, so they gave a RM1 discount and replaced them with more chicken. RM8 for a small bowl of Sarawak Laksa. And not forgetting to mention the best ever Phoenix Talons (chicken feet), so juicy and tender that I could chew and swallow the bones! Fantastic experience. Will come back for more!

Kuching Laksa; the earthiness of the herbs, spices and the indescribable aftermath after 2 bowls!

Whenever I stepped foot in Kuching Sarawak (Cat City) I’ll make it a point to have breakfast at this old traditional coffeeshop. Sometime sold out by 10am. Now you know why the locals are storming this place early in the morning. Go early!
