Restoran Sempelang

A local restaurant that I stopped by twice during my trip
We ate mee goreng twice because it was so delicious! If you order sup dagaing, a soup dish like galbitang is served. And this is a great steamed squid restaurant!
The one written as sotong is squid. I grilled it whole and ate it with a baker that cut it up, then fried it again, and I got stir-fried squid that tasted like stir-fried peanuts.
I highly recommend it as it is a local restaurant without any Koreans.

Ramai bah tu pekerja dia tapi aduiina, lambat betul sampai tu makanan. Mau dekat sejam menunggu tu makanan. Itu bos dia pun time lunch hour juga buat 'meeting' sama pekerja-pekerja dia. Makanan dia sedap tapi service astagaa Allah ja tau

Service out, order makan kena tunggu 45min, order ayam penyet 2 yg sampai 1.then kena reorder balik then what tggu 45min lagi? Ain't no way.

I could not even taste the food.
Waiting 1 hr 30 mins for my food is a waste of time when i was just about to leave then they deliver my food.
Not recommended i asked to take it back.

Jadi molek kedai nie, kebersihan sangat bagus, makanan dia sangat sedap, paduu lah, menu macam2 ada. Mmg awesome

Makanan di Sempelang semua sedp2 mknan kegemaran sya semua.klu ke kk mesti singah Sempelang.terbaik masakan nya semua sdp2. Sya kasih 10

Halal & affordable. Not forget to mention that quite yummy & got various dishes. I had nasi ayam + lauk campur Even their roti bakar (toast with kaya & butter) were tasty! 1 min walk from my hotel (DeLeeton Hotel)

Lieblings-Restaurant in KK. Wir haben fast die ganze Speisekarte durchprobiert und sind nie enttäuscht worden.

Good environment except just nearest to construction site that a bit noisy but so far good foods and drinks can get with normal prices.

Got variety of foods. The taste is also good. Highly recommended to people who cannot really accept Sabahan food

Pengunjung agak ramai kat sini.

Restoran ini tempat kegemaran saya setiap kali saya ke kota Kinabalu. Makanan semuanya sedap sedap tidak rugi kita makan disini harga pun kita bayar berbaloi UTK teman2 kalau berkunjung ke KK jangan lupa singgah ke restoran ini. Nikmatilah makanan yg sedap2 serta pelayan2 nya sangat peramah.

Nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the food. Sempelang restaurant is at the corner of a busy commercial block so you will noticed people walking and passing by while you are eating. This restaurant is next to DeLeeton Hotel and night market.

If you are looking for a taste of local food, this is certainly one place you would not want to miss. You could either pick and choose the ready cooked dishes that you want to go with your rice you could order for food that the chefs would be more than happy to prepare for you.

Parking is easy here and getting here too is not difficult.

1st time here & i already like the variety of malaysian food on menu.good ambiance at night. IMHO the price & cleanliness is reasonable.quite friendly staff
