Bak Kut Teh has a rich flavor and is a food that makes people feel good after drinking it. The fried rice noodles have a glutinous texture and are even more delicious with spicy sauce

The hockien mee is still very tasty. Same goes with the bah kut teh and indian mee from the bah kut teh stall.the steam chicken is equally tasty.

Came here for late dinner. Ordered
HokKien mee, O Chien and lohbak.

Never ever order the lohbak when u dine here unless you wanna get overpriced and diluted sauce lohbak servings. Probably the most expensive lohbak that I have eaten, it’s like dining at a cafe for Loh bak. Paid RM18 for one plate! Outrageous price for the serving

Would advise against ordering the Loh bak. Ordered two strips of lobak, two pieces of prawn fritters and the tofu, was charged a ridiculous RM18 for the plate. Even more expensive than the ochien plate we ordered.

Nothing great about the lobak

I ordered shrimp noodles and golden egg noodles. They were not delicious at all. They only had half a braised egg and small shrimps. There was no English dish. They were expensive. They didn’t have any ingredients. You had to bring the noodles to the table yourself.

The porridge and chicken is decent.
The drinks were bad. Very bland and tasteless. If can just order the can drinks.

Good place for finding food - bak kut teh, hor fun, loh bak, Kari MI, fried oyster. Reasonable price and need to be patient for looking seated, as always crowded.

Bak Ku Teh is great. For those who prefer the more herbal soup base. Portion is reasonable and boss very friendly.

One of the most popular hawker joint when it comes to supper time until straight into early in morning about 3pm. The chicken or fish porridge is good. Remember to order the raw fish sashimi style in his own way. The Hokkien mee is famous but now it is self service. Curry mee, and bah kut teh are not bad.

Restaurant is by the main Macalister road on the left. Parking is terrible & local parking enforcement is extremely swift nowadays. Restaurant is corner lot but is cramp due to placement of big stalls within its premise, leaving not many tables for patrons.

The famous prawn noodle is highly recommended & the stew egg too. The egg is so fragrant to its yolk. This is a self-service stall, line up & pay while waiting for your orders. There's a claypot bak kut teh stail, tasted ok @RM14.50 comes with rice.

I haven't tasted other foods, most stalls look really busy. Table service by foreign workers is efficient & helpful.

The famous prawn mee isn't really that nice even compared to some of the lesser known place that locals brings me to. Less fragrant, sad prawns and soup isn't as tasty. I've had better even in KL.

Yes there are better char kway teow. Better tasting bak kut teh. Better this and that. But ultimately, this is one of those coffee shop places you go to when you have a crave for everything but not the luxury of time to go to those other places. Great spot for late night supper when everyone else is closed too.

Still the same taste. No change in quality. No change in ‘queues’ either.

I preferred my bowl of mee without too much of the chilli paste as it carries a bitter after taste.

Loh bak is exorbitantly overpriced and tastes mediocre. Tourist trap. 卤肉又贵又难吃。本地人都不会吃。专杀游客的吧!

Bak Kut teh, fried noodles (ee fu mee, wak dan hor) is, prawn noodles, steamed chicken are nice.

I had a BA KU TE for 19.50rm. It was not cheap price for local hawker centre (open food court) but, it was full and quality high. Pork is good and the ingredients are much more various compared to cheaper VA KU TE.
Well, nobody will regret!

The white currymee is one of the best in town followed by the oyster omelette (O chien) and the white steam chicken (peh cham kei) and selfproclaim super Hokkien mee (prawn mee). Give credit to all vendors operated by 'si fu' (s) themselves, mother/son, husband/wife or father/son. Such passion and pride they put into churning out their food! Park your car on the opposite side of the road and walk across.

Prawn noodles and the chicken stall both are good. "LOK BAK"/ Goh hiang is over priced, five tiny pieces cost MYR 14.same goes to Grill seafood -MYR26 and taste very normal.
