Camar Resort Langkawi

Für unsere Malaysia Reise haben wir
CAMARHOTEL 2MAL aufgrund der günstigen Lage und des Grössen Pools 2xmal gebucht.
Zwischen den Aufenthalten haben wir andere Orte besucht.
1. Aufenthalt: 1 Tag vor der Abreise wird uns ein Foto von Schrank verschmutzten Wäsche präsentiert und wir müssen 90RM bezahlen. Das war auf keinen Fall unsere Wäsche!
Nur Teil der Kaution war zurückerstattet.
Leider war der 2. Aufenthalt bereits gebucht.
Wir haben das Personal aufgefordert für den Fall, dass im Zimmer etwas nicht in Ordnung ist uns das zu zeigen und nicht irgendwelche Fotos.
Trotzdem wiederholte sich das Szenario wieder und am Vortag der 2. Abreise war uns wieder ein Foto präsentiert! Und dieses mal müssen wir 255 RM bezahlen!

We enjoyed our Staycation here! The hotel even had the AI robot. The service was great n staff there were attentive. Room was cold n cosy. My son entirely enjoyed the stay! Highly recommended! Thanks to Mr Chan the manager who was so friendly and customer oriented.

The room is clean and tide with perfect house keeping services, great bathtub and shower. Room is well air conditioned with all required supplies.

The pool is amazing also next to the beach and great breakfast however quite expensive 110 RM per person.

Spaceous parking spots with security 24 hours.

Great staff and employees welcoming us.

Highly recommended if planning to stay for more than 3 days.

They took a deposit of about 200 ringit, which almost equal the cost of room per night. It is so much for travelers.

I had a great 3-night stay at Camar Resort Langkawi. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

The beachfront location offered a beautiful view, making it unnecessary for us to try the pool. I appreciated the presence of a security person near the beach area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Our room in the beach wing, at ground level, was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The daily refills of amenities and morning/evening room cleaning services were a nice touch.
The on-site restaurant provided delicious food at reasonable prices, and the restaurant staff were always welcoming. Dining with a view of the sea added to the overall experience.

Moreover, one standout feature was their separate water line for drinking water. This eliminated any concerns about water quality, which was a reassuring touch.

However there were a few issues. We were unprepared for the unannounced RM200 security deposit, and the lack of clarity on when card payments would be refunded led us to withdraw cash from an ATM prior to check-in.
Additionally, the tea bags didn't meet our taste expectations, especially as a Sri Lankan familiar with better quality options.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and despite a few minor issues, we had a pleasant experience at Camar Resort Langkawi.

Very worst and rude behaviour by staff. They charged late checked out fees for 2mins late check out. No varieties food for breakfast. Very poor quality of food. Not recommended Resort in Langkawi for staying with family or friends.

Absolutely Pathetic!

The entire staff is light years away from being polite.

Can you imagine a place where the restaurant manager denies providing a tea bag on breakfast table?
I needed a stronger tea, hence requested for an additional tea back (which btw is part of compliementary stuff in rooms), which was denied by the restaurant manager despite of repetitive requests.

I'll strongly recommend a place where the management of hotel has some "common sense" and is more hospitable.

Very calm place. Very nice decent breakfast. Clean rooms, nice reception girls, very attentive waiters. Only negative is that when we arrived they require a deposit which I have never seen in the world that we got back at check out.

Why do double rooms only have one chair on each balcony? It is really odd.
Plus the rooms have no where to dry swimming costumes. Some cost cutting without imagining the customer experience.
Staff in f&b are lovely. Front of house very slow.

Not recommend this hotel in my case…
First room with no water heater and transferred to the 2nd room
Saw a dead cockroach on the floor then transferred me to the third room.
In 3rd room there’s no hot water in the beginning again. When asked the receptionist who push back me back with explaining this is the common situation for the beginning couple minute (which it’s been 10 mins and the water is still cold) after I insisted to check first then she just sent a maintenance guy…

Although the staffs are friendly but lack of the quality of the room and the alternative ways for the resolutions are really disappointed ️

Absoluter Traum Ort!

Pros:
- längster Pool, den wir je gesehen habe
- direkt am Privatstrand gelegen: weißer Sandstrand, Traumkulisse, mit dem schönsten Sonnenuntergang
- Personal durchweg freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit
- Essen & Trinken unglaublich lecker
- ruhige Gegend, aber man wäre auch in 1,5 km im Trubel, wenn man das möchte
- tolle Zimmer!

Cons: gibt es keine!

The room was lovely, waking up and stepping into the pool, beautiful.
We waited close to an hour for service at the pool bar.
All staff were lovely, they were just so slow.
The worst part of it all is breakfast. Don't even bother eating there. Go to a little coffee shop across the road.
It's a little far out from the main street, which will cost you 5 ringgit in a grab.

Bath tub agak kecil. Tak sesuai untuk dewasa. Susun atur bilik yang sangat unik.swimming pool besar dan puas hati.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and not very crowded. Swimming pool was very good size

Nice hotel, I have a private villa 10 seconds from beach with an outdoor rainshower (awesome in a tropical downpoor)

Room is clean and tidy, quite minimal with a very large comfy bed.

Staff here are all absolutely brilliant, each and everyone of them has got to know me by name (hello Mr Peter)

Room has tap filtered water, certified for westerners.

Bar and restaurant are running but limited due to the covid, however a grab car to local host spot is only £4 one way.

I'd stay here again, everyone makes you feel part of the family.

A great place to relax and enjoy Langkawi. It’s my 3rd time staying here and I will visit again

My favourite place to stay in Langkawi. Very friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms, a great pool and a secluded beach. What more could you want?

Located at a very nice beach. A bit of walking if staying near the pool but nearer to car park.
